Here everyone dress up as vampire, witch, skeleton or something else with blood. The more scary the better it seems. I don't understand why they can't dress up as something nice or cute.

Ditto Heather Sue’s embroidery designs. She rocks! I have never had a problem with any of her designs (and I've used a TON of her designs!)

The costumes are TO DIE FOR! You did a FABULOUS job! What a sweetie Gus is for dressing up! Not a lot of guys will do that! (They are so cute together)

Yeah for Josh coming home I hope he had a good hunting trip.

Thank you! I'm happy to say I'm on the mend but poor baby Jeffrey is still all congested and not feeling well. We did have a great time trick or treating last night with Peter Pan (James), Jasmine (Sarah), Captain Jack Sparrow (Jeremy) and Piglet (Baby Jeffrey). We went over to one of Jeremy's friends houses and the kids had a blast running from house to house! Made me miss being a kid again.

Allison and Gus look great!! Love their costumes!! Good luck finishing up Christmas shopping!

LOVE the Mickey and Minnie costumes. For a last minute idea they came out perfect. Gus sure is a keeper.
Oh how I miss having a little one for the holidays. So glad I have a 1 1/2 yr old niece who I get to enjoy. My daughter and I joined them for trick or treating, and my daughter dressed up. Just some cat ears and whiskers, but the little one thought it was funny.
Glad Josh and MM are home.

Yes - HS is awesome for her embroidery designs. She is always the first place I look when I need something, because I know it will stitch out perfectly.

Yesterday was a fun day!

I worked in my sewing room a little bit in the morning, trying to catch up from being a little bit behind this week from working on the costumes. I have about an hour worth of work to do up there sometime today.

I picked Victoria up from her friend's house yesterday afternoon, and we went to Olivia's confirmation... It was a very nice ceremony, and it felt really good to be included amongst close family.

Afterwards, we all put on our best "Disney pose" and Gus took our picture...

And BFF rented a room at the church for a little luncheon after... It was really nice and worked out perfectly. She made her home-made wild rice soup and sandwiches... She did the soup totally organic and nitrate free for me... So, it might not be perfectly Primal - but I can splurge every now and then.

Here's a photo of Olivia getting an "Olivia sandwich" from Victoria and her half-sister Caity... You can also see Alli, Gus and I in the background... Olivia's dad is to the right.

Victoria stayed at BFF's house last night, and the rest of us came home.

Josh, his uncle and their friend arrived home from Nebraska at about 11 last night... So, I helped them unload Josh's truck and transfer it to their friend's vehicle... And of course - I gave MM lots of love... He is soooo tired this morning....

Today, I need to work for a little while and finish up my order.

I also have to take Alli in to work. Gus is picking her up, and they are going to get her hair chopped off.

Otherwise, I'll be hanging out here all day - enjoying my time alone with Josh.

I did get to rest a bit yesterday and Sunday is always a rest day. We did have to go to calling hours today for a friend of Dan's who passed away suddenly. Dan's age. Scary!

I hope you have had a relaxing weekend and fun spending time with your honey and MM. Come on, who did you miss more???

We are having a big snow coming in tonight *SIGH*. They are already saying that schools will probably have late starts in the morning - IF they are even open at all. I miss the Florida weather!

It turned out really cute! She is a little unsure of it - Gus LOVES it, and I think it's adorable... She is doing it now, for the first time - so we'll see how she really likes it.

LOL They got a lot - I am not sure how many, but we do have pheasant in our freezer.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

They are adorable - no doubt about that. I could sit here all day and just being with them makes me feel young again... I am probably some sort of weird mom - but I don't care. LOL They have something very special... Anyone who sees them together just knows it (except Josh... LOL).

Yes, she has chosen Disney for next Halloween too... We'll see if she stays with it though. I think she has finally learned - if she chooses Disney, she will have her Mother's full-support (ahem - Mom will do it all for her)... LOL

Yah - she chopped it off... She's been debating it for a while now, and finally took the plunge yesterday... I have pictures below.

Thanks - we didn't do much... By the time I took Alli to school, then came home and had lunch... Went to the neighbor's to hold their sweet baby ~ ahem for 2 hours... ~ Well, there wasn't much time left to spend with Josh. LOL

Nothing much happened yesterday that was exciting...

I took Alli to work in the morning... They I had to run to BFF's house... She wanted our Valleyfair season passes - as our birthday gift this year - she renewed them for next year. So we are season passholders for the 2015 operating season/6th or 7th year now? Without a Disney trip on the horizon - this will be a good thing. Sadly - I didn't use mine much this year - but the girls did, so I feel better about it.

I came home and had some lunch...

Laid down on the couch with MM for a little while - we took a short nap...

Then my neighbor needed lettuce for dinner- so I ran some over - in exchange, he let me hold baby Evie for a couple hours... She missed me! I've been purposely staying away because I was so sick... She loves me so much - I put her right to sleep on my shoulder - as usual. I could just keep her!

It wasn't long after, Allison and Gus came home... This was the picture she texted me...

YIKES!

I was very anxious to see her!

I think it's very cute - Gus loves it - but Allison still isn't sure of it. She is doing her hair right now - so we'll see how she likes it once she does it herself.

So, Allison did her homework... Gus hung out with MM... I thought I was MM's favorite - but the more time Gus spends here, the more MM loves him.

And here's how it turned out... I think it's super cute!

Josh made an amazing dinner of steaks on the grill... And he made home-made apple crisp for dessert. Mmmmmmm.... It was delicious. I don't normally splurge on sweet things - but whoa... Home made apple crisp - yes please! Delicious!

Today... Well, it's a Target day for me...

Gus is picking the girls up from school today and bringing them home. I am sure he will have dinner here.

That's about all - Target days are pretty boring.

Hi Dee - I'm finally catching up on trip reports. The Mickie and Minnie shirts that you made, and Ali's skirt, turned out great! But I have to ask, did they wear them anywhere besides the front porch? The shirts are perfect for a Disney vacation together.

We got almost 2 inch of snow a few days ago. But yesterday morning it was all gone because it rained all night. It's raining today as well. It gets really dark when there is no snow to light up the surroundings.

Alli's hair looks great too. I just chopped mine off...well I had the haircut place cut it off...last month after growing it out for years. Sent my donation off in the mail, hoping it can be used. Hard to get used to short hair again, but I know it will be long again eventually!
