Love Alli's hair! And love their costumes, so incredibly cute. I think I'd wear that skirt to work with a nice black sweater and boots.

Yoga yesterday was good, not as bad as I expected. I felt lost a lot though, I think sometimes my body just doesn't do what I intend for it to do, it's like something is disconnected. All in all, it was good, I broke a sweat and was able to do some things I didn't think I could do. When you take your first class, you get a week of unlimited classes for the same price so I'm trying to figure out if I can squeeze a few more classes in before we leave for Disney on Sunday! I'm going to go check the class schedule now and text DH for permission.

I have a lot to get done this week - work wise I need to set my boss up for next week so he is in good shape - at home, I have a ton of Disney prep and one of my best friends is having a party at her house Saturday night so I'll have to be packed and ready for Disney prior to heading over there on Saturday. Maybe squeezing in yoga classes isn't such a great idea. Actually, I was talking to my girlfriends last night, and I'd like to do as many classes as I can before I leave so that after being gone for a week, I'll miss it and want to go back. I feel like I need to do as much as I can so the motivation will last while I am gone, if that makes any sense. Hope Target is great today! I need to head over at lunch and try to find Peyton some shoes she can wear in our family pictures at Disney - I had no luck for her at Rack Room yesterday.

I've been gone far too long!!

We recently got back from our vacation in October, so now I need to get caught up on the DIS!

Hi Dee - I'm finally catching up on trip reports. The Mickie and Minnie shirts that you made, and Ali's skirt, turned out great! But I have to ask, did they wear them anywhere besides the front porch? : The shirts are perfect for a Disney vacation together.

Thanks Sue! I had so much fun making them! They didn't wear them anywhere else that night - sadly... But Gus did bring his home and I am sure they will wear them again... They have a few shirts that "match", and they do wear them once in a while. So, I have hope. LOL

I'll be sure to tell her... I like it straight better, but she likes it curly.

We got almost 2 inch of snow a few days ago. But yesterday morning it was all gone because it rained all night. It's raining today as well. It gets really dark when there is no snow to light up the surroundings.

Yah - it was a bold move for her... Not sure if she will keep it short, or if she will immediately start the process of growing it out? LOL

No, no, no... Not ready for snow! Hope you got your snow tires back on in time?

Alli's hair looks great too. I just chopped mine off...well I had the haircut place cut it off...last month after growing it out for years. Sent my donation off in the mail, hoping it can be used. Hard to get used to short hair again, but I know it will be long again eventually!

Allison had her hair this short the year we went to Europe... It was so cute, I just loved it. I do think it's a little too blunt on the bottom though - so we might go in and have them fix that?

Yah... I am not sure I would be this lenient with anyone, except Gus... Now that sounds funny to say, because for the longest time - they were completely chaperoned... but somehow, he's managed to become family in these last several months, and I trust him... He'd be the first to tell you, that it took me MONTHS just to get me to let him take her anywhere... It's been a slow process. But now I am pretty relaxed about it, and they are *almost* free to come and go as they'd like, as long as they obey curfew... I dunno, it's just so hard for me to let go enough to let her have some freedom - but I know I must.

Thanks Jennifer... I have a feeling that skirt will get worn again and again. I was considering making one for our last trip, but in the end, I decided not to - so when Alli chose this costume, I just knew I was making this skirt. It fits all of us - so I am sure we will wear it again.

Yah... She did mention that it's a little weird. But it's cute... It fits her personality well - I think it looks adorable up in a pony, it has that chopped off look to it - but she doesn't like it that way.

LOL - we never go apple picking... We should. The apple crisp was amazing, I had a little bit last night too... Sigh... No more for me though. Must be good until Thanksgiving.

Hahaha... That's one thing I am thankful for, Josh doesn't care how I do my hair - as long as it's not really crazy and the color is a "normal" color... He could care less if it's long or short - I've had many variations over the years. But it must look normal. LOL Oh, but he does prefer "not blond"... LOL So, I try to stay away from too light of colors, but I don't guarantee anything - sometimes I get a whim and I must follow through with it. Hehehe....

I know!!! I am such a weird mom - I told myself all the while the girls were growing up - I would never, ever like anyone that either of them dated... And here I am... I really enjoy having Gus here and I just LOVE seeing them together. It's so hard to show it in pictures, but gosh - their personalities really compliment eachother well, and seriously - they crack me up. I sure hope they are able to make things work out... I know Allison is young, and I want her to experience life, but Gus is truly a good kid and I wouldn't mind if he stuck around for a little while.

Thank you!! I am still working hard at it. Thanks for saying that about my blog, sometimes I feel like I am just out there writing to myself. LOL But it's OK - I am doing it for me anyways... It's been a good outlet - although, sometimes it's hard to find things to write about.

OOoh - Yes, I now have those boots in brown and gray... I walked in there the other day, and they were on sale again (a better sale than the first time) - so I got the 2nd pair... I'll probably end up getting the black ones by the before too long. LOL I wonder if that's a little weird, to have 3 different colors of boots in the exact same style? LOL

Yes, she took a lot off - it was surprising... I wasn't sure if she would do it. She curls it every morning that she does it that way... She has a wand curling iron and just wraps it around... You should see her when she is doing it - it's so cute, because she has her whole head sectioned off and just works her way around. I'd take a picture - but I don't think she should appreciate that. LOL

I had a good day at Target yesterday... I sure love Mondays (if I were to ever really love any day of the week there) - because my whole day is one big project - resetting books. Every week, they completely overhaul the entire books/movies depts... So, everything moves. It's fun - and it keeps me busy all day long, which I like. I would be happiest if I stayed on Mondays forever.

Gus picked the girls up from school yesterday, he dropped Victoria off at Target for me, then took Allison home.

I followed about 20 minutes behind them...

Made sloppy joes for dinner... It was actually really good. I put mine on top of a sweet potato with butter, and surprisingly - it was delicious! I can see that becoming a staple in my diet.

Then I watched Sunday's episode of Once Upon A Time... Highly recommend this show to any and all of you... I believe the first 3 seasons are on Netflix.

Oh, Maleficent comes out today... I plan on getting it this week and making the family watch it this weekend. All the while, I'll be thinking of my Dis BFFs - whom I miss terribly.

I also plan on doing my next update here today... It's been a while and I am overdue. So, be watching for that shortly.

I'll be lifting weights this morning.

Then I'll be in my sewing room the remainder of the day.

I left you all just as we were headed to the Animation Studio...

This is one of our all time favorites, and it was something that we really wanted BFF and O to experience. When we got there - the line was super long. One set of people had just gone in, the corral where they keep the next set was full, and we were in line beyond that. So, we knew it would be about an hour when we finally finished up in there. We were OK with that - since it was nice and air conditioned, and we could sit on our bums.

This is another of my favorite pictures of myself from this trip... I like a lot of things about it, but expecially, I like how you can see the muscles running up my legs, when I am doing nothing but relaxing.

Just as we were let into the corral by the crabby CM, I looked at the time, and I realized I would miss my BIG Dismeet if I stayed for the class. I was so bummed - this is something I love to do. Oh well...

Allison offered to leave and do the Dismeets with me. So, we bowed out of line and went to go sit in the shade at our designated meeting spot.

The first to show up was Monica (Tartar63?)... Isn't she adorable? Seriously - Monica is the sweetest person ever. We sat there on the bench under the hat for a long time, just chatting. It was so fun to finally get to meet her!!!

And then more and more people started to show up...

We have Rachel (mom2_3girls) and one of her dds, Monica (Tartar63) and Pam (Disney Queenie) with her girls...

Then that group left and we continued to sit on the bench with Monica... Then Jeni (Scrap_Vamp) texed me to see if we were still there, so we waited for her...

I just love doing Dismeets - it's so fun to meet everyone I've become so close to on the forums.

Just as we were finishing up the Dismeets - our Star Tours FP were coming due, so we met back up with BFF, O and V - we proceeded to ST...

Afterwards, we were hungry, so we were passing the ABC Commissary, and the menu looked OK to most of us... The girls and I had never eaten there, and I saw they had a salmon salad on the menu - so I was game.

Believe it or not, my food was delicious. I did not hold out much hope for salmon from a counter service location - but after having it at CHH a few nights previously - I decided that I would try it at other places. Again, I was pleasantly surprised. Something I would definitely order again, and recommend to others.

Hahaha... And our frozen cupcakes were HUGE! I took this picture, because BFF had a brilliant idea and made her's into a sandwich. It was much easier to eat that way - wish I'd thought of it, but mine was in the process of digesting at that point.

Because there were no vegetarian options at ABC for Alli - that she was interested in... We grabbed her lunch at Rosies - but I honestly cannot remember what she ordered?

On our way to TSM, we finally ran into Tasha (nursemommy4)... I've met Tasha before... August 2013, and then she also met us in Chicago this last summer for our Epic Dismeet... I was super excited that we were in Disney again this year together. Tasha is one of my favorite people - and she gives the best hugs!

Sadly - I have no pictures of TSM... What was I thinking?

A, O and BFF decided to go sit in the air at One Man's Dream, while V and I went to meet Woody and Buzz...

After - we met up again and passed by this little photo op... We reluctently sweated it out and had our photo taken...

We agreed that some air conditioning and a nap were in order...

While we were in there, I received a text from a good friend of ours who wanted to meet up, but we had a 4th FP we wanted to use for GMR, so we did that first...

Who sent me the text? What were we planning?

Your Dismeets look like they were fun. We were able to meet five Dis board people on our last trip. Even my husband enjoyed meeting them, even though he knew nothing about them. These meetings are one of the things that make a trip to WDW a lot of fun.

I love Monica's shoes! And your bags go perfectly with both your outfits. Did Woody get to see your bag when you did your meet and greet? Those photos turned out really well, by the way.

I still have not seen Maleficent. I'm hoping that I put my name on the library reserve list early enough that I will get it soon now that it is out. I don't want to buy it if my girls won't watch it multiple times.

I also started blogging again, mostly as a place to keep track of the clean recipes we have been eating. Especially since I usually take 2-3 recipes and make my own from them. But I don't think anyone except me has looked at the blog since I restarted.

I was so excited when I logged in this morning and saw you had updated! And I wasn't disappointed.

Sorry you had to miss the animation class, I know you like to do that. We used to do ABC Commisary almost every trip but now we do table service every trip to DHS - we love Mama Melrose and 50's Prime Time. Funny story about ABC Commisary -we like to eat lunch early so we were there a little before they opened. When they came out to open the restaurant, they made my mom the guest of the day. We got to sit at a table with a table cloth and real dishes and the took our order and brought us our food. It would have been cool - but it took forever!

We love doing the cupcake sandwiches! It makes them so much easier to eat, especially for my messy girs.

I still haven't seen Maleficient - I'm thinking we'll RedBox it sometime soonish. I'm looking forward to it.

So, I went to yoga again last night. It was a different instructor who I liked better - the one on Sunday was fine too, I just liked the one last night better. I also loved going at night - the lights were low and it was super relaxing. I'm going to go tomorrow too but I won't be able to fit another class in until after we get back from Disney. Hopefully I've found something I can stick with. It's nice that my girlfriends are going too - 3 of us went together on Sunday and 2 of us went last night.

Wow - you get a lot of DISmeeting done while you're in WDW. It's a wonder you have any time for rides and attractions!

Allison's hair will look better by the end of the week - have less of that chopped look. I also chopped about 6 inches off my hair - I'm no longer sitting on it or tucking it into my pants.

Just a fly by as I'm training a new phone person at work and don't have my usual leisurely lunch break.

Sounds like you had a great day at HS even though you missed the animation class. I really enjoyed that class when I visited WDW last year.


Even if we haven't had much snow before now, we had a cold period in early October when everyone thought it would snow. So I got my snow tires on my car in early October. So when it suddenly started to snow in the afternoon a few days ago I was all set. I couldn't find the car brush (to brush the snow off all the windows and roof of my car) so today I had to go and buy a new one. Even if I have a Webasto engine and interior heater it's good to have a brush for the times when the Webasto don't do the job properly.
