Has anyone used one of the babysitting services while at the Fort? DH and I will be there with our DS7, DD4.5 and DS4.5. They are all old enough to go to the Wilderness Club at the Lodge. That's one option. It would be about 4 hrs, from about 4 to 8pm. That's about $120 plus tax.

I've read about Fairy Godmothers and Kids Nite Out. It might (about $30) be a small savings to use one of these agencies. And, I think my kids might enjoy them a bit more. I'd leave dinner ready in the motorhome and then they could head to the campfire/sing-a-long. If anyone was too tired, they could just pop in a movie and go to bed.

What do you think? Has anyone ever tried one of these?

We've used the Cubs Den several times. Our kiddo loves it--and asks to go back often. Are you sure they start as early as 4 p.m.?

If I had three kids there, I'd be sure to drive there and to my destination--at their prices, you don't want to waste time/$ waiting for a bus!

You're right, we would have to start our evening later than we would like if the kids stayed at Cubs Den. The earliest drop off appears to be 4:30, with the club activities starting at 5.

I called Kids Nite Out today. Wow! Was I impressed! Very friendly, very professional. She answered all of my questions. In case anyone else is wondering... they asked how big our RV was and if it had a full bathroom. She also stated that we will have to leave one of our cell phones for the sitter and the sitter will be allowed to use the cell phone to call the KNO office or us while we are out. The sitter will come to our RV. We are going to order pizza for them and then the sitter will take the kids to the campfire sing-a-long. Bring them back to the RV and let them get dressed for bed! Given that KNO is endorsed by Disney, I'm feeling pretty comfortable. Total, we will spend about $40. less for KNO than we would for Cubs Den and I think the kids will benefit more from being at "home" after the campfire.

Looks like a little "mommy and daddy time" will be coming my way while we're at Disney!:thumbsup2

That is awesome! I don't think my 12 year old daughter will go for a babysitter, since she is doing babysitting herself these days, but it's good to know as someday I want to get my sister and her kids on a trip with us!
