A Baby's Best Friend Rental

Just wondering if anybody has used this company to rent strollers or other products? I like that they offer booster seats and a few other items that I might like for our room. Prices seem comparable to what I've seen on other sites. Any input would be greatly appreciated. TIA

We rented from them 2 yrs ago. They were great. we got a bumbo and an exersaucer for our then 10 month old dgd. Everything was clean, wrapped in plastic and there when they said it was going to be. I would use them again and would definitely recommend them to others

I also rented from them 2 years ago and won't do it again. Our crib was missing a part or something and I tried two times to get in touch with them but was unable to reach anyone. However they were very quick to call me when they thought I didn't return the crib to the luggage pick up area

A few years ago ABBF used to be THE company recommended on the DIS. Then Orlando Stroller Rentals started placing ads on All Ears newsletters and sponsoring this board. Soon, they weren't talked about as much. I'd have to say that 98% of everything said about them was positive. I've never used them. We drive, so I just take what I need. What can I say? I'm cheap. I would use them without a second thought if I had the need.

We used Orlando Crib Rental for our trip in May and they were AWESOME! They made the whole process super easy. I just called them when we got our hotel room number and they were there within minutes, dropped the crib off right off in our hotel room and set it up for us.

Everything was super clean and top notch.

When our vacation was over they came right to the room and picked the crib back up, no need for us to lug anything to the front desk.

LOVE them - have used them twice, super easy, nice stuff, very clean. Everything was always waitng for us when we got to the hotel, when it is time to return the items, we put them back in the bag they came in and left it in the room for bellhops.

We've rented from them 3 times...for cribs and toddler beds and they are great! Everything went smoothly and they were clean!!

Thanks for your replies everybody. It sounds like overall they have a good reputation. I am sorry pp that you didn't have a good experience with them. Very frustrating to not have the service you expect.

I've used ABBF twice for crib rentals as well and am using them again for our trip this fall. The crib has always been waiting for us when we arrive and everything is clean and in good shape.

I did use Orlando Stroller Rentals last year to rent a double stroller as ABBF wasn't yet offering the Baby Jogger City Minis like they do now.

We rented the stroller for our upcoming trip from Orlando Stroller again, because they offer an insurance policy option that ABBF does not offer in case something happens to the stroller while you have it.

We've rented a crib & a toddler bed. Everything was waiting for us upon our arrival, was clean & was very easy to put together.

My only caution is that the detergent they use to clean their bedding is VERY heavily scented. We found this out when we rented the crib. DD has ezcema, which can be made worse with scented products & I have asthma and the strong scent was too much for me. Luckily we brought our own sheets so we used those and kept ABBF's linens in the bag they came in. The next year, when we rented the toddler bed, we asked for linens washed in unscented detergent and had no issues.
