You can buy the membership Magic beyond to use for both trips. Just wait to activate memory maker for your July trip.

So having a ride picture show up (ie at the end of Haunted Mansion) will not activate it? I've had Memory Maker before as an add on and the pictures just show up I don't recall going in the app and activating it.

Ride pictures show up automatically. If you have LL for the day those will show up without the watermark for free, and you can download them without activating the Memory Maker. If you don’t have LL, they will show up with the watermark. You have to click and choose to activate the Memory Maker benefit. So if you don’t have LL just don’t download them and don’t choose to activate until your July trip.
