Hey guys!! I see we have a new thread!

Karen -- I am totally jealous of your med cruise!! I tried to get my sister to sign up for another one while we were on board, but it was a no go. Boo!! In retrospect, I'm not sure I could do a whole week with her alone...the 2 1/2 hour dinner prep time was getting old!!

How is everyone else? The weather her still stinks...it was good for like a minute, but now it's supposed to rain every day this week....

Our cruise was fun!! We did the Sealion encounter in Nassau, which was really cool. The weather wasn't great that day, it was in the 70s but cloudy and windy all day...but Castaway Cay day was awesome weather, so that made up for it. The new TVs are way nicer than the tiny ones that were on there before too.

Who on here signed up for the cruise next October? I was thinking about it, but i'm still not sure...maybe I will book it when we are on the Dream in January!!

Glad you had a good time on your cruise, Mary! I'm thinking about booking the Oct 2011 one for my birthday next year. I'll have to wait until everything is paid off for my birthday THIS year before I even mention that cruise.

you guys really should book the october 1st 2011 cruise, we could have a mini reunion at sea!

we're both sooo looking forward to this cruise now, we've both has a crappy couple of days/weeks at work and are both now ready for a holiday. only 25 days til we sail (24 til we fly out). just cant wait. and i'm obsessively checking the DCL website for our room assignment!

I really want to book that cruise, but we have to see how it goes with the moving and everything. We are hoping to be in FL by then...so i'm not sure if I can keep my job and work remotely, or if I will get a new job and what the vacation situation will be. But, I will just be so excited to be done with winter that it's okay!! I can at least visit you guys!!

The sealions were fun!! They were really cute, and WAY different than dolphins. Dolphins are cool too though. My sister and I were the only 2 doing the sealion encounter that day, so it was super fun, we got to do everything at least twice...they hug and kiss you, and the one that we were with was pregnent, so we were rubbing her belly (which she LOVED!!) and we could feel the baby kicking!! Check out their facebook page (Dolphin Encounters) in June, they are going to have 3 baby sealions!!

if you are down in florida by then, you definately need to come down and say hi, we're going to be in orlando for a week before the cruise, so even if you guys cant make the cruise, we all at least need to try and meet up for dinner or something?

Mary, you're moving to Florida?? How did I miss this?? The sealions excursion sounds awesome! I'll have to keep that in mind for next cruise. It's more cost effective than the dolphin one!

I casually mentioned the Oct 2011 cruise in front of Kris. I mean that's a long way away and we've only been dating a couple months. I want to do it though but I wouldn't be able to book for awhile. Maybe that's a good thing.

Hvae you guys read about the new resort that's going to be opening up? They're finally taking what was supposed to be the Legendary Years at Pop and turning into the Art of Animation Resort. All the rooms are going to be family suites and themed Lion King, Finding Nemo, Cars, or Little Mermaid. Opening the end of 2012. Goombay smash reunion!

Hey guys sorry I have been MIA for a while. We paid off our cruise for next sept. Even though its over a year away i feel great that we were able to pay it off this early. Karen i'm jealous of your up coming cruise i want to go back on one this year but it doesnt look like it is gonna happen
So how have yall been? My new cruise board isnt that great no one seems as talkative as we were on this thread. I am hoping it will change the closer we get to the cruise.
My mom, little brother, stepdad, stepbrother, sis-in-law, and there three kids are gonna be at the parks the same time as us next sept we finally get a big family vacation (except they will be staying at the parks while we go on the cruise) Jen yet again my family is telling me i need to consider being a Disney Travel Agent since i am planning their trip and helping them book it.
I am hoping greg and i can find someone on our cruise thread that we can like dining reservations with but i dont know i know they wont be as nice or as fun and easy to talk to as all of yall. I miss yall!!!

Hey Lainey!! How are you? A family trip sounds like fun, we go with Tim's family all the time, but i'm always trying to get MY family to go...so far, no luck!!

I was just coming over here to post about the new hotel!! I saw it on wdwmagic. I read that it will be mostly suites, but some regular rooms in the Little Mermaid section...I think it will be really cool!! The theming at the value resorts is really cute!!

Jen, after our September/October trip last year, Tim decided that he wants to move. I have wanted to move for a while, but he thought FL was too hot...I guess he changed his mind! He's nutso obsessed with moving now, and he almost has everything he wants to get done to the house done so we can sell...then we will probably move to his parents house (good thing I like them!!) until we find jobs in FL. Luckily, his parents just bought a house there, so we will be able to stay there while we shop for a house ourselves!! So, maybe it will be soon!!

Hi Lainey! I was wondering where you'd disappeared to. That's great news about paying off the cruise. Hopefully you're thread will pick up as the cruise gets closer; it's still over a year away. We had more and more people join ours the closer the cruise got. It was just the 4 of us for awhile! But we rock. You should be a TA! You'd probably be good at it. I want to work somewhere I can book nothing but Disney! I'd love to get a job WITH Disney. Maybe someday...

Mary, that's awesome about moving to Florida! I'd love to live there. Are you looking at any area in particular? I'm assuming Orlando.

I booked my flights for my October trip. Flying JetBlue! Never flown with them before, has anyone?

lainey, yay you're back!! when is it that you're cruising/going to WDW next year? think we're there about the same time?

i've just heard about the new resort too, about damn time they did something with the legendary years. its been sat there empty for coming up for a decade!

really cant wait til this cruise now, only 24 days to go. and still waiting for a room assignment that meet thread isnt too active either but its getting a bit busier now that its getting closer. and theres a lot more british people on there being a european cruise.
there's 17 rooms (including us) in our FE group so far lucky i bought enough of everything for 20....

ok, slightly lying, its quite active, but no way as active as this one was. its on 26 pages, and was only started in january, but there's alot more people wanting to get involved on the FE.
i got the first bits of my FE gifts through in the post today, i've got the lanyards, just waiting for the pins. i got a handful of pin trading leaflets from work earlier, just incase people dont have a clue what its all about! then again if they dont, have they been living under a rock for the last 2 years!

as of right now we only have 3 cabins that is including us, b/c we have a husband and wife who are both posting on the thread. They aren't that chatty at all.
