i prefer TSM as at least you're stationary. gary keeps moving the buzz car around as soon as i line up a decent shot! but he wont let me steer as i "keep moving it around too much"
i dont know what to do about work. any opinion would be greatfully appreciated:
i've pretty much been told by disney that i can stay on after xmas, which is yay!! i love it there, and its so much better/funner than my other job. BUT i'll be dropping down from a 20 hour contract to an 8 hour one. and apparently thats spread over 2 days. boo. my first reaction to that was "its not worth annoying my theme park boss (gemma) over for the sake of 8 hours a week".
so decided i'll have to go back to the theme park full time in january as was originally planned. but i just dont enjoy it there. before i left in july i used to do the MD's (philip) emails and personal stuff sometimes, basically i was trusted enough to do that. after i left the finance department, my boss up there did some major s**t stirring, and when gemma asked philip if i could come back, his answer was why do you want her back after all that? luckily gemma managed to argue my case and i was allowed back.
but the problem is, i really dont want to be back there full time. but i havent got another job lined up so gotta stick with it at the mo.
well i got in yesterday (after a really cr*ppy week at both jobs, along with some non work cr*p to deal with) and was reading the minutes of the management meeting, and one of the comments was "credit control has got 100% better since donna (woman who took my job in accounts over) took over". now was i really doing that bad a job? i know i wasnt, but at the mo it just seems that everyone there is against me. well maybe not actually against me, but their attitudes towards me have definately changed since i left.
its just making me not want to be there even more.
now i'm back to thinking, i should keep disney, and do 3/4 days at the theme park. why be at a place full time that i dont enjoy at all? but the only prob with staying at disney is that it costs me an hours wages in gas to get there and back, and they're only 4 hour shifts. i'll be able to pick up overtime if i want it, but if i do 4 days at theme park, and 2 days at disney i'll be doing 6 day weeks. just not sure what to do at the mo.
what do you think? kinda need an objective point of view and you guys are the best.
