my bells palsy is improving i can actually smile now

It is so ugly here is has been raining all night and all day if it rains much more we will have the same problems everyone had while we were in disney and my little car isnt made for flooding.
Karen how is the disney store going? I miss yall i hope your doing good

things are good here thanks, really enjoying the disney store, and from what people have said in passing comments i think (desperately hope more like!!) that i'll be offered a permanent job. but i wont believe that til it happens!!
glad to hear your bells palsy is getting better, i can only imagine how crippling something like that must be, i guess you dont really notice things like being able to smile until you cant do it anymore. hope it keeps getting better!

garys away at the mo, he had a funeral to go to yesterday in glasgow, and he's away for the next 2 days too.

Hi girls. Work has been ok, busy today because I missed yesterday and Monday due to the wake & funeral. I was happy it was busy to take my mind off things. I did a lot of bookings today.

Glad to hear the bells palsey is getting better!

Karen, I'll keep my fingers crossed they offer you a permanent position!

yay for making lots of bookings and keeping busy, i'm sure its helped to keep your mind off things.
i am really hoping that they offer me a permanent job, but not sure how my boss at the theme park will take it if i ask to stay part time. i'm not sure if theres enough hours to keep 2 and a half staff on.

Yeah, yesterday was kind of crazy. I came in, did some invoices, and it was quiet until my co-worker went to lunch. Then I had people at my desk for over an hour, went to lunch, did more invoicing, and then had another person at my desk for almost an hour. Then it was time to go home. Today isn't really looking that way....

Yeah you really dont realize how much you smile until you really cant but now it is almost normal im just waiting on my eye to catch up but atleast it isnt making it hard for me to sleep anymore.
im watching the travel channel they have the season of disney show on i have seen it so many times but i still like it and i need another vacation the dr says that stress can make bells palsy worse so i think a little trip to disney would be a great medication

I was watching that too! We have it on in the office. I keep walking by and saying 'Aw, Disney World!' I'll be there soon. I need to go one year during the holidays. I've been to MVMCP but I've never seen the other parks decorated for Christmas.

i have been once to see the parks decorated for christmas all but animal kingdom but when i went i had the flu so i wasnt noticing everything i hope one year that greg and i can go i want him to see the gingerbread houses that they have at the resorts i couldnt smell them last time.
Now i wish they would have more disney stuff on the travel channel to watch while i do laundry and get ready for work.

yeah there's never enough disney on tv. then again when we get it over here, its normally really old programmes and the UK presenters are embarrassingly cheesy, i just cant watch them half the time! plus (not really meaning to brag) but we probably know more about WDW than the presenters!

yeah she has a great job and if i were her i would ask to do disney all the time and do all the disney cruises.

how's everyone been today?
well gary's finally home but he's now ill. he's been (lets say) very ill since last night, and he's not feeling much better at the mo. he thinks it may be either food poisoning or the winter sickness bug. i'm hoping for our sake that its food poisoning, as i dont really want him spreading it round!!

one more day at work (well a 4 hour shift) then got a day off!

I'm here until 3 today and then I have tomorrow off. I've been better. This past week has just sucked, bad. And I really haven't been sleeping well.

yeah i'm guessing it must have been a tough week for you, and i know first hand how debilitating not being able to sleep can be. hope it gets better for you soon, i get insomnia quite regularly so i end up taking over the counter sleeping tablets afer a few days and it normally helps.

i've got tomorrow off! yay! looking forward to a lie in tomorrow, but apparently its supposed to rain all day so think that'll probably mean we wont get round to doing much. but on the up side, gary's feeling a lot better today, i think it must have just been something he ate.

been at disney today, and its been really busy, coming up to christmas and all, but my assistant manager came up to me and asked if i wanted to stay after christmas, so i think its looking good for me to be able to stay. the only problem is trying to ask my boss at the themepark if i can stay part time. i dont think thats going to go down too well

I've taken tylenol PM a couple nights but I don't want to get dependent on sleeping tablets because I'm afraid eventually I won't be able to sleep without them. Glad to hear Gary is feeling better. Let us know how it goes with your boss at the theme park. Why would it be such a problem?

i'm not sure if its going to be a problem or not, but she was depending on me going back full time in january. there's enough hours for 4 full timers, too many to fill if i only go back part time, but too few hours to go round if she keeps me full time then hires someone else full time too.
not sure, think i'll just have to see what happens. i do really want to stay at disney and it looks like i'll be able to, but if its a full time or nothing thing with the theme park, i'll have to go back full time. i cant afford to only work part time.
