9/24/09 3 Day Wonder - Cruise Meets, and FEs, and Goombays oh my!

It's funny that every country except the US refers to it as football. Here it's soccer. Football is something COMPLETELY different over here. I can't imagine those huge linebackers kicking around a soccer ball.

FARMTOWN IS ADDICTING!!! I have a farm, my mom, greg and almost everyone in my family has one. You grow veggies and now you can grow peppers and pineapples. It is really fun and very addictive Karen my mom wanted to know if you would add her as a friend on FB and Farmtown (she wants more friends to visit like see needs more she has about 30!!) You dont have to but if you do her name is Kimberly Bannister Ball. Yeah Jen that would be funny looking seeing all those huge guys trying to kick a soccer ball.
My mom is feeling better right now she is eating a burger and watching king of queens and laughing i am fixing to get me some dinner her food is making my stomach growl.

I'll have to check out farm town when I get a new computer. My old one cannot hack regular facebook, so I'm always on the mobile site. It sounds like that game for the Wii...I'm stuck for the name...Animal Crossing! I've never played it but it's supposed to be HIGHLY addictive.

Yes, it's me. I was having trouble navigating this website. I couldn't find where I posted. This is your first cruise ever, ever? Oh my, it's a treat. LOL. Day care included We were absolutely shocked that day care was available until midnight and soda was included. On other cruises, you need to purchase soda cards $6 per day and pay $6 per hour for day care after 9 or 10pm. Have you all heard about the free cultural event with food on the last Friday of each month? Sounds like a great experience! Since I can't post the link yet, I went to tripadvisor dot com and just typed "high tea at governent house", someone posted a review on it.

ETA: i've just noticed i've got a hover ship too!! maybe we should have been cruising on the disney MAGIC!!

hi portsofcall!! welcome to our friendly (and very chatty!!) cruise meet thread!!

my name is karen, i'm 28 and cruising with my DH gary. this will be our second disney cruise, we're off to disney first on the 12th september, then meeting up with some very cool people and off round the bahamas!!

we've got a few things going on if you're interested, we've got a pre cruise meet on the 23rd at jellyrolls at the boardwalk resort, then some of us are off to epcot for extra magic hours.
there's a cruise meet on Thursday 24th (embarkation day) at 2.30pm on deck 10 outlook bar, overlooking the goofy pool.

we're also doing a fish extender gift exchange. i'm not sure if this is a big thing on the cruise critic boards (i'm not over there much), you're welcome to join in if you want, its going to be fun!!

i am getting so busy im glad that i have bought all the FE stuff already so that i dont have to think about buying anymore im actually getting a tiny bit stressed right now since the wedding is getting closer we finaly got all of gregs new clothes(had to get him shorts since he ONLY wears pants) and of course he had to have a UGA shirt.
i hope you all like your FE gifts i think i put plenty of candy in them not that those of us coming from MNSSHP will need any. Well i am off to get flowers for the reception centerpieces and jewelry for my bridesmaids. I hope you all have a great day i will be back on later today.

i hope you all life my FE gifts too, i've been buying stuff in stages, i got them all out and they're a bit random, there's no kinda theme to it all, just loads of little bits. going to get some UK candy too for them.

Hey! Have any of you stayed at Old Key West? There is availability there for our trip in December. I've never stayed there though, or even been there, so I don't know what its like. Opinions?

its a lovely looking resort, you can get a boat to DTD from there. i was looking at OKW or SSR for after the cruise. decided on SSR because OKW seems a lot more spread out than SSR, and you can walk to DTD from SSR. the rooms are huge at OKW apparently!

Thanks you guys i am maily just stressed from the amount of stuff to do not only with the wedding but with the house, my mom, work and school. i just made my toss away bouquet it is pretty and im proud of it b/c i made it.

greg and i got the floors done in the livingroom so that is 3 rooms done now 4 rooms left and the bathroom is the one i am not looking forward too there is so much to do in such a small space. why are the bathrooms always the biggest pain in the BUTT!!!!
i need a storage space for all the flowers and things for the wedding i am running out of room to put everything.

I had a busy day today...took a vacation day from work to celebrate. My brother took me to breakfast then we went shopping for awhile. I got home and Kelly wanted to take me to a movie, so we went to see The Ugly Truth (I love Gerard Butler) and about 40 minutes into the movie the film actually caught on fire! It just melted before our eyes, and you could smell the fire...so they evacuated the auditorium....then refunded everyone's money. I always knew Gerard was HOT...but that was ridiculous!

Then Kelly and I went to to buy some DVDs then headed back to the theatre to see The Orphan....which was one messed up movie. It wasn't bad, just unexpected and kind of wrong. After the movie she took me to dinner. Now I am home and we are watching my birthday pressie from Bob....40 inch flat panel HDTV! It is so clear it you can see peoples pores!

Karen, glad you liked the FE! I was so excited when I saw the box at the Post Office...who knew there was such a thing as "Mickey Mail"!

Hi everyone!

It's been a semi-busy few days at work and home. I started the 30 Day Shred and am in some serious (but good!) pain. I started tracking what I've been eating through Sparkpeople, and have done well the last few days.

I was washing my face tonight and somehow I cut my top lip badly with my fingernail. I don't even know how I did it, but now there is a chunk of my lip missing And it doesn't feel very nice, either.
