i thought i'd make them in case you guys needed them, if you can get better times, i can cancel the ones i made. just thought i'd get in there before they all went!

Karen -- you rock!! :thumbsup2 Thanks for the heads up about Le Celier. We don't need the one for 2 -- but thanks so much for thinking of us (we're travelling with his family after the cruise). I was able to get a lunch ressie on the 30th for all 6 of us in our party!!:banana: We had all just accepted the fact that we wouldn't get this AT ALL on this trip!! Yay!! :goodvibes

not a prob, i booked them as a precaution anyway!

Thanks for the heads up Karen! I booked my own for the 23rd at 2 pm. I'm so excited we're going to get to go there afterall! :)

Now i'm kind of bummed!! My friend at work checked the availability for BCV the days we wanted in Dec, and only 2 of the 4 nights were available (we wanted the 12-16, on 12 & 15 are available). Nothing is available at Boardwalk either. She said that the studio is available at Saratoga, but we're staying there in September...so i'm having them check a couple more places, and then I might just go with Old Key West, which should be available. We've never stayed there. So sad!! I LOVE the Beach Club!! :sad1:

Afternoon everyone!
Mary, Bob and I stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort last December (1st - 8th), it was our first time there for the Holidays. The decorations were just beautiful, the crowds were light...the weather was cool most of the time and downright cold a few nights. If you haven't been during the Holiday Season before, you will love it. Ironically Bob did not like the Caribbean Beach Resort at all...which really surprised me, he is all about anything tropical, yet he felt it wasn't "inviting". :confused3. I stayed there once before when Kelly was 5 and we loved it so I thought he would as well. We were talking about going back for a long weekend this Holiday season, but Bob's daughter Brittany is expecting her first baby on the December 12th, so we are going to have to skip it this year.

I have been so wrapped up in planning the cruise and the land portion of our Disney vacation, I completely forgot that I am leaving for San Francisco in 33 days! I am traveling for work, and they always let us have a free room night either before or after we have to start working. My BF, Jeanne works at the same place with me so we decided to go in two days before we have to work, (so we will pay one night out of pocket) so we have time to see San Francisco. I think we may take a day trip to Yoesmite or something. Funny since it doesn't involve Disney, I am not really excited about it. Disney has spoiled me for the rest of the world!:rotfl2:

We have tough jobs. Donna, you get to go to San Fran for work and me and Mary have to go to Universal. Woe is us. ;)

I hope you can somehow get the Beach Club, Mary!

lol about the not getting excited! when i'm not planning an upcoming trip to WDW i just cant really get excited about a trip. like spain for example, i wasnt hugely excited about going. had a great time when i was there, but just couldnt get excited before i went.

that sucks about the BWV and BCV mary, i tried for ages to check all the DVC resorts to see what i could get and most of them were booked for my dates.

glad you're all getting your le cellier reservations, yay!! i'll cancel the reservations i made in a few days once i know you all got what you wanted

Donna, we go almost every year at the holidays -- try convincing my DH not to!! LOL, that's mainly why we are going again in December. Not that I mind or anything, but I like to go see all the different things there, not JUST christmast-time. I'm trying to convince him that next year we should go during the Flower & Garden Show again since we haven't been in a while, and skip Christmas. It's not going well!! :rotfl:

If we don't get BCV (or one of the other villas) this time, then we will just stay at Port Orleans FQ. We have only stayed at Riverside, so it would be something new. It's not that big of a deal, it's just that I was already so psyched up for it. Oh, well. 4 nights at POFQ is way better than 0 nights at Disney!! :wizard:

I have jazz band practice tonight. I'm not so psyched about that!! I love playing and the concerts...but the director drives me nuts sometimes at rehersal. We have a concert Sunday though, so we must practice!! Hopefully, my fingers won't blister tonight!!

I cant wait to meet all of you you are all so nice to me and i know that you will make mine and gregs trip even more memorable (with our crazy disney buddies :lmao:) well my mom has not gotten better they have moved her into the ICU so that they can monitor her more closely she says that she thinks it is the plavix and beta blockers they gave her one of the nurses she had said that it was in her chart that she is on them regularly i told her that there happens to be another Kim Ball in Dallas, Ga and they get mom confused with her alot so they gave her the WRONG medication!!!!!!!!!:mad: But I loved one of her nurses she was from Ireland and was so sweet and attentive to my mom i wish she could have stayed with her in the ICU
So mom will be filling out wedding envelopes in the ICU of the Paulding County Hospital and she of course has her laptop so she can cure her addiction to Facebook:rotfl: she is in good spirits and should be out before the end of the week. Oh and last night i got my mom to watch Family Guy and of course she doesnt see why so many people like it.
Greg and i got lucky his cousin bought new living room furniature(sp may be wrong) so we got her old stuff which doesnt look like it has been used that much so now we only have to get end tables and a washer and dryer :banana:
Karen i would take on of the Le Cellier ressies but greg has now gotten excited about eating at Yatchsmen so that will be another reason to go back and get the DDP (that and to feed my disney addiction)

Hi, everyone! Really busy day at work for me. And that's a good thing! :thumbsup2

Today is my son's 10 month birthday. I feel a little sad! Here's what he looked like then and now:

Time sure does fly. :(

I am getting crazy excited about the cruise now. I can't believe we're getting so close!

Absolutely nothing new or exciting going on over here now.

Lainey, I understood the oxygen saturation you were talking about. I'm so sorry your Mom isn't feeling well...hope she feels better, and VERY soon! :wizard:

Hey everyone!! I should be in bed right now, but i'm watching the Cubs game, and they went into extra innings. The problem is, whenever they go into extras, they go LONG it seems. They're in the 11th right now...2 outs. And now Houston is walking our guy on purpose. That's so lame, I hate it when people do that!! Maybe it will end now...

Jazz band was uneventful. My amp quit working for a while, it's really old, and they were supposed to buy a new one (park district equipment), but instead they fixed the old one. The parts that I plug into from my bass are loose, so the cord doesn't plug in right and it goes in and out. Really nice!! LOL!! Especially because we have paying gigs, sometimes the bass works, sometimes not.

Well, the game didn't end. I'm off to bed to watch the end, hopefully, unless it goes to long!! popcorn::

WooHoo! Cubs win! Bottom of the 13th, they walked the bases loaded on purpose, and our guy Soriano got a GRAND SLAM! And it was 5 to 11 here so they still got to play go cubs go! Yay!

Can you tell I'm a Cubs fan?!?

lol at myself, i didnt understand a single word of that!!!!

steph, your son is sooooo cute!!!
my friend is staying with me at the mo with her 11 and a half month old son, i've never really been a baby person really, but i'm having fun playing with the little one! and on the flip side, i'm really proud of cerby (my dog), he's been so good with the baby, he'll follow theo around to make sure he's ok and will just lie there while theo is prodding him and pulling his fur and stuff. he's getting a big cuddle and a chew toy tonight when i get back from dropping them back down south!

lainey, i hope your mum gets better soon, and out of the ICU. i cant believe that in this day and age, where everyone sues everyone, that they'd make the mistake of giving her the wrong medication. i hope she's better soon.

ps: i got a call this morning, i've got a job interview tomorrow morning!

Congratulations on the interview tomorrow! I will keep my fingers crossed for you.

Cerby is such a beautiful dog and it is sweet that he likes the baby and is protective with him. Lilo has never seen a child under the age of 6 so when Brittany has the baby it's going to be interesting to see what happens. Lilo is gentle with everyone unless she wants to play, then she starts scratching your leg for attention...and she tries to put her toy in your mouth. Lilo and I went for a walk this morning and there were lots of other people walking their dogs around the block, she was very excited....so much so that she is passed out on the bed now taking a power nap!

LOL!! There are usually 9 innings in a baseball game, but it was tied so they go into extra innings until someone wins. Sometimes if the pitcher doesn't want to pitch to a guy for whatever reason, they will throw them four balls (not a strike) on purpose, which means that they get to walk, or go to 1st base. This time, the pitcher walked someone on purpose when there were people on 1st & 3rd base, so the guy on 1st base moves to 2nd, and the bases are all full. Then our hitter came up and got a home run, which when the bases are loaded, is a grand slam!! Since the game was in Chicago, we bat last in an inning (there is a top and bottom, away team bats in the top, home team in the bottom), so we won!! Yay!! Not that you cared, but maybe that explained it better? I guess you don't have much baseball across the pond!! ;)

Good luck with your Job Interview tomorrow!! I will keep my fingers crossed for you!! :thumbsup2

Steph, your son is ADORABLE!

LOL Karen. I guess baseball isn't big in the UK, huh? I like going to baseball games but I can't watch them on tv. I get so bored. I'm a hockey girl. ;)

Good luck on your job interview! Fingers crossed!

Lainey, I hope your mom is out soon!!

nah baseball isnt really a big thing over here. our national obsession over here is football, i dont get the obsession personally, i think its way overhyped. and the mentality of some supporters is just plain stupid. oh well! plus we're really fickle over here, the whole country will go mad over any sport if we're winning, but as soon as we lose, thats it, no one cares. a few years ago the country went mad because we won a medal at the winter olympics for curling. nothing heard of that ever since.... then again i'm not really a sporty person so i dont really follow any of it.....

i'm sooo tired, i've been driving solidly for 8 hours today, drove to bournemouth, dropped katie off, then turned around and drove straight back. i had to stop off on the way home to get some fresh air, i was nearly falling asleep at one point.....

katie got me playing farm town on facebook a couple of days ago and i'm now getting really into it..... i need a life!!
