well i've had my induction now, i start on monday, but it was pretty dull really.
here's the shop floor
here's the stockroom
here's the fire exit
now sit and watch 5 dvds.

our uniform (costume!) hadnt come in yet so they were rummaging around trying to find us any spare uniform so we've got something to wear, i've got my 2 tops, but missing the pants. and we dont get our name badges til we start in case we lose them.
i've been given an induction booklet and dvd which i need to do/watch before monday. but i start monday morning, so should be fun.

i'm really tired now though, i woke up really early this morning so suffering for it now.

me and gary have pretty much decided that we're going to chessington world of adventures on sunday, its a theme park near us, nowhere near on the scale of theme parks over there, but its like the 2nd biggest one over here or something like that. should be fun.

hi everyone!
stacy, i've emailed you back with my address, i'm done with my photopass stuff, it took me ages to get my lot done (i find it really boring!).

jenny, first day went really well thanks, i'm supposed to work 10-7 monday and wednesday, and 12-4 on saturday, but i ended up working yesterday too, as they called me and asked if i could come in and work.
everyone is really nice there, and my bosses seem to like me, so that always helps! i've got 2 days off now which i'm looking forward to as i'm still kinda ill, got a bad cold (gary was ill over the weekend and gave it to me ). so chilled out day.
but i get 20% discount which is cool, and i'm really enjoying the job.

sorry i havent posted in a while ive been busy with work and school and i just got an email telling me when i have my rad tech interview so keep your fingers crossed that i get in. Once i get out i can support my disney habit

whats your interview for lainey? is it for training or a job?

i'm really enjoying the new job thanks, its hard work but good fun plus i got to stand and chat to a guest earlier for about 20 minutes about disney world, disneyland, DVC, and the D23 expo last month!

it is an interview to get into the Radiography program and once i am in i will graduate just before my 2year anniversary. and then we will be able to go to disney more than we do now

Has it really been a month since vacation??

yeah i noticed that when it said its been a month and 4 days or so since lainey got married! time really does fly (and not in a good way).
i've got more overtime tomorrow, they called earlier so i'm working 4 hours tomorrow. luckily its the afternoon as i'm soooo tired and really need a lie in. i really need to do my ironing but i'm still not feeling great, and being so tired too really isnt helping.

ooh, i was talking to gary earlier and he hinted (through a bit of coercion) that he might be trying to book a 2011 cruise, from what we have spoken about before it may be the westbound transatlantic! but i'm not supposed to know so i'm going to try and forget about it til he tells me its booked

Hi everyone!! Sorry I haven't posted in a while, last week was crazy with my 2nd CPA test (I probably faild...), and work. This week will be crazy too, but not starting until tomorrow!!

So, I booked part of our trip for next Thanksgiving, Tim's 30th B-Day will be on Thanksgiving, so I wanted to get a room at his favorite, so my friend that works there booked us a room at the Contemporary with a MK view!! It's only for 2 nights as it's a bit expensive, but it will be a nice view!! We're going to be there the whole next week with his family, but haven't decided where to stay yet, although we're leaning towards GF for 3 nights and then the Yacht Club for 3 nights.

Only 46 days till I go back for our December trip, I can't wait!!

How is the Disney Store going, Karen? I'm sure it's fun!

We decided to go again in mid-Feb. I get to make my ADRs tomorrow. I think I decided on Liberty Tree Tavern, Garden Grill, Sci Fi, and Tusker House again. That breakfast was so much fun!

The test was just really different than what the study materials prepared you for. They tell you what % of the test will be on what (it's released by the people who give the test) but sometimes you just get an oddball test that way off. Lucky me!! Oh, well, I can just retake it.

That's great that you are going in Feb!! Are you getting the dining plan? You should get the deluxe, Joe could totally eat all of that (and then some)!!! We're getting the deluxe for 3 nights in Dec, i'm excited to get to eat at the fancier restaurants.

We didn't go for the dining plan this time. I got a travel agent rate on the room and for that time of year, it wasn't allowing me to book the dining plan as part of the discount. Oh well. None of the places we picked are too expensive though so we should be ok!
