well at least you can do more of your trip report!!
i ordered a pair of custom timberland boots about 3 weeks ago (as for some stupid reason you can't buy an all black pair without having to custom order them

) and they finally turned up tuesday. i've got a pair of the same boots in a different color, so ordered these in exactly the same size. well i got them out the box and tried them on, thought "they seem a bit tight", but i thought they might stretch a bit while wearing them, so wore them to disney today. god my feet hurt now. they're not massively tight, but they are definately a bit snug.
problem is that timberland state all the way through the ordering process that all custom sales are final. thats it. no returns at all. but i've just called them and they've agreed (as a one off) to take them back and refund my money. if i want a new pair i have to order them as a separate order off the website. so i've ordered the next size up, its only a half size though, as they dont do a half size for anything over a size 8 (US 10), so i'm hoping they're a bit better. the way i see it is that even half a size has got to be better.
the only prob is that i now have to go back to wearing the cr*ppy cheap boots to work for the next 3 weeks til the new ones turn up, and that i have to wait for them to refund my card, while they've got another payment off me for the next pair, which no doubt will mean that i get charged interest on my credit card

but stupid pointless rant over!!
i'm actually in a really good mood at the mo, had a great day at work, and have only got 7 hours of work between me and a day off! and i found out today that i should be getting my proper cell phone back within "1-3 days" yay!!
