Finally got through and for 9C $5370.89 for 3 adults with 10% booking discount from dummy cruise booked on board $4937.89.

I was also quoted $7040.89 for 5C

All for 6/28/11 to Alaska

Booked the 4/27 and the first Alaskan 5/3. Asked about OBC and was told that there was none.

To those of you who have booked already and been told that you are getting OBC--- could you check your ressies and see if the OBC shows up somewhere on your reservation?

I checked mine and didn't see anything. I am a Gold.

I appreciate it. I would try calling DCL back, but I shudder at the thought.

The CM I talked to read the OBC info off of his information sheet for Gold members.

Is this for the 7-day Alaska :scared1: That's high!

No, it was for the Panama Canal Cruise (I got the quote at 8:11, so it was tier 1). After much thought, I think the prices are so high because they are not on planning on having a lot of families, so they rise the price of the first two people. Hopefully they have a promo for kids go free and we can book a cat 4 later.

I got 2nd seating for the may 2011 eb so not sure if its booked or they are holding mealtimes for others

 Not sure if I'm the only one who didn't realize this, but the Holiday Sailings for 2011 are not available to book today. Sure wish I would have know that before wasting 161 minutes of cell phone time.

The wonderful CM (she really was, no sarcasm here) told me that DCL made the decision not to release only recently but apparently forgot to mention it to anyone who was dumb enough to sit on hold for an eternity. And no, couldn't be placed on a waitlist for that either. She suspects it will be released later this fall with the Dream. As if I'm going through this again!

Sorry you didn't see the post that was made a couple days ago when someone called to ask about them. The CM said they were being revised. :(

I got it!! For 7-Night Alaskan Cruise Catagory 7A 05/31/2011 for $3700 eveything included from a TA.. I am so happy with the price.

Just booked PC repo for 2A in 11GTY-$4126 (no airfare or insurance)

Since we did not have prices and could not do any comparision before hand, just did some comparing. Princess cruise for 15 day itinerary in Jan 2011 in lowest catergory room is coming out to $4396...this is over $200 MORE than the $4126 we are paying for Disney!

Just thought I would share as I know that there have been so many concerns about price. Makes me feel a lot better about the cost of the trip and happy that I will be with the Mouse!::cheer2:

Are the OBC for gold/platinum for new reservations or just transfering of existing reservations made while on board a previous cruise?

I have a whole week to be concerned,:headache:
I hope I can pick something up at this price, thanks everybody for posting prices

Those are just for onboard bookings that were transferred. Apparently that is another difference between the tiers now. The old standard used to be $200 for a 7 day cruise.

Hi everyone,

Just thought I would throw in my 2 cents..I spoke with an CM through my travel agent line (not that it helped this morning but I had to call back so I got thru quicker this time)

The OBC is for transferring ressies. He checked the Alaska cruises for me and said that they are not offering any OBC for new ressies.

Also..it is effective this Wednesday - the deposits will go up to $600.00 pp.

Now, I understand that CM all seem to give us different answers so take this info for what it's worth.

Congrats to everyone!
