I did write! I wrote, "Merry Christmas from The Barden Family!" ;)

Yes, you did and you omitted the names of the Loud children and I could only remember 2 of the 3 (N&H)! :headache:

So between the 2 of you, you've got all three:thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

OK, everyone, I need some brainstorming.

D & I sat down and looked at his training this summer (mid-July) and the wedding of my cousin in Columbia, MO, and the DIS meet.

We are having a tough time figuring out how to do the following:

Attend the wedding in MO, Aug. 2nd.
Possibly attend D's mom & stepdad's big family weekend, if we can talk them into the weekend before or after the wedding (as we did this summer.)
See D's dad & stepmom in the Knoxville, TN area.
Attend the DIS meet, hopefully from the 20th to 25th.

See, when we go to the wedding, we'll see my parents and hopefully grandparents if they're up to the 5 hour trip from their house. It's nine hours from TN where D's dad is to MO, and also 9 hours from MO to the Chicago area where D's mom is. We'll have to drive to accomplish all three sets of parents and the wedding (there is no good way for us to fly to Columbia, especially if we try to combine that trip with other family.)

D mentioned just taking the entire month of August off. He'll have the vacation days, but it's still a stretch to kennel the dog for all that, do all the driving and so forth. Plus, that would most likely leave him with nothing else for the year, which seems like maybe not the best idea. :confused3

He also mentioned having Mom fly out and drive back to MO with me (she's done this many times before) and he'd just take the wedding week and drive back with me, work from say 8/9 to 8/19, then take another week for WDW. That sounds good, except then we'll have to take another trip during the year to see both sets of his parents.

Anyone got anything else? Thinking outside the box? Frankly (and please DON'T tell my mother :lmao: ) I'm way more interested in the TFW meet than the wedding, but I don't see a way out of that. :rotfl: D's been very encouraging for me to find a way to make the meet, but I need guidance!

Thanks! :grouphug:

Wholly crap! I just checked Airtran $154 each way from LAX - with a stop in Atlanta! :woohoo: As LL would say, Book it, Dan-o! :lmao:

WTG T. I am trying to get straight through ad $114 each way isn't too bad, but I want to see if they come down a little lower. I was looking at Jet Blue (out of Newark), Allegiant (out of Allentown, PA) or Spirit out of Atlantic City, but for what we would save in airfare we would spend in a room for the night before, so I am just going to be patient. I got $117 RT last year and I booked mid February!

Stupid double crappy posts!

It is really getting annoying....

Go to the wedding, Come to the Dis meet, and fly all the parents into New Hampshire:rolleyes1

Attend the wedding in MO, Aug. 2nd.

Skip it - you can go to her next one. :lmao: Of course I'm totally kidding!!!
Possibly attend D's mom & stepdad's big family weekend, if we can talk them into the weekend before or after the wedding (as we did this summer.)
Invite them all to your house instead. :goodvibes

See D's dad & stepmom in the Knoxville, TN area.
Isn't TN on the way to Florida? :confused3 If yes - well there you go. If not, just ignore me, I didn't do well in US Geography.;)

He also mentioned having Mom fly out and drive back to MO with me (she's done this many times before) and he'd just take the wedding week and drive back with me, work from say 8/9 to 8/19, then take another week for WDW. This sounds like a good plan.

D's been very encouraging for me to find a way to make the meet, but I need guidance!
Aw, he sounds like a good guy! You guys HAVE to come in August!!

Really? Do you think I should wait until then? I've never used AirTran - I'm skerred - but the price is so worth it. Do you buy the trip insurance? Help! :lmao:

Go to the wedding, Come to the Dis meet, and fly all the parents into New Hampshire:rolleyes1

Well... Actually, just SKIPPING the other parents hadn't really occurred to us. But they generally don't mind coming here (not all together, though - no room AND exes is not the way to go...) :lmao:

Isn't TN on the way to Florida? :confused3 If yes - well there you go. If not, just ignore me, I didn't do well in US Geography.;)

Actually, also not a bad idea. We could hit MO and Chicago (maybe even fly), come home, then drive by his dad's on the way to FL. It's a long drive, but... It's also a little out of the way, but again, not bad! See, I knew you'd all have something I wasn't seeing.

Aw, he sounds like a good guy! You guys HAVE to come in August!!

He really is (plus I think he was surprised at how much he loved WDW...) I think you'd like him!
