:rotfl: Didn't mean to scare you. It's for my college - University of Illinois Illini - who are playing in the Rose Bowl on Tuesday. :cool1:
Sorry 'bout that one CE. I was rooting for them!

The idea of a stroller for an 8 yo never occured to me, but I can see why you would want one in WDW in August! :thumbsup2
Mind if I weigh-in Mo? I have one word of caution for you: buttocks. Have you pushed a larger child in a stroller very long? Leo's now approaching 40 lbs and my rear-end has never gotten the workout it did pushing him around this past trip. Now think about doing this in 95 degrees with 90% humidity. I'm 100% anti-stroller that time of year. Honestly, Leo - at a mere 42" tall - was able to do half-days without teh stroller no problem. In Aug., I think it's so much more important to get those "chill" breaks in each afternoon, either in water or AC.

I don't want to alarm anyone, especially as I'm not sure it impacts the Weiner night, but I was pricing things out and reading the new DDP rules, etc. and ran across this directly on the DDP explanation on the Disney site:
Two table-service meals will be redeemed per person dining for all Grand Gathering Experiences except for the Good Morning Character Breakfast, which requires only one table-service meal.

As I said, I don't know if the Weiner meet is an "Experience" that falls into this category, but someone on the plan might want to check it out. :thumbsup2

"The Wiener Experience - brought to you by the Fockers." :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Thanks for the heads-up CE. I wonder... if we try to book an ADR with that many people, will they automatically consider us a Grand Gathering?

I think they are referring to the "exclusive experiences" like the fire works thing and the safari breakfast as the two TS credit items. BUT, I could be quite wrong on this.

I did some reseach and you are correct. It only applies to the GG Experiences (Fireworks cruises, etc) Regular GG don't apply. ;)

Works for me. :)

Puffy french toast, eh? I've only done CP for lunch and dinner - I'm a breakfast virgin. Be gentle!

Don't like French Toast, but we have done breakfast before and it was very tasty:thumbsup2

This isn't just any frnech toast. This is French toast to die for, to go to war for, this is a sugary cinnamonny puffy piece of heaven!

This is just MHO but there is no way my girls would be seen dead in a stroller at that age (I just asked them) maybe we're just made of tougher stuff here :rotfl2:

Mine either! But they DID want to drive their PawPaw's scooter....but that's against the rules!

All good points for me to consider! The first day it would be an issue would be Monday as the other days there are breaks already built in. Monday is Epcot all day and we are at BCV, can anyone say Storm Along Bay!

Hey Jo, would Buzz be considered wonky?

So Fockers I was in Target at lunch today and of course stopped by the travel size aisle:thumbsup2 They still have those travel size clorox wipes packs and but they also had antibacterial hand wipes which I think would be better the purell for those little sticky hands(don't have to worry about the bottle leaking). Needless to say I stocked up for both trips.:thumbsup2

That makes my tally for today one correct, and about a Zillion wrong according to my 4 year old.:rotfl2:

Ok here's my turn - I think this is tweak #5. BUT - I'm on the fence on something - I may have to change CP breakie Janet and Mo b/c we were supposed to have lunch there on the 26th and no TS on the 24th. Then I changed it and had to move LTT from 8/21 to 8/26 thus cancelling Donalds Safari Breakfast. KWIM? I'm so confused! :headache:

New tweaked schedule. Like Mo, I think this is #4.

Actually it all sounded normal to me:confused3 :rotfl2:

Meeting up for Everest would be fun:thumbsup2 Jimmy can't ride, so we are thinking child swap this way Jim and I can each ride once and Andrew can ride twice.

I REALLY hope that they have P & P that night. They have dates until June out. Hopefully they will put out the rest of the summer soon

See? I knew someone would get it! :lmao:

Sounds good! Andy won't ride and Maddie and Evan can't. I thought I might have to ride alone, but since you'll be there the same day we can hopefully meet up. :woohoo:

Hey! I didn't cancel! You're gonna have to share that Puffy piece of perfection, my friend! ;)

I may have another tweak, but only to room and stuff, not schedule, at least for now;)

Was just talking to mom & dad, both were working yesterday so I never got to wish them a Happy New Year, anyway my dad says to me. Jim got mail here. Huh?:confused3 Yeah, mail from Disney. Oooohhh, what is it. It is a mailing stating that they are offering 40% off packages. Mmmmmm, I say it's probably for travel in the next couple of month or so. He starts reading and it has dates for January, March, April..nothing I can use right? Then he says August 5th to September 9th. Whaaaa. Waht were those dates again Dad. August 5th to September 9th. 40% of ay package. Exsqueeze me. Did you say 40% off. Sure did. Can you put that stuff in the mail ASAP please.

So, as soon as I got off the phone I start working the numbers. :cool1: I will let you know how it works out after I get the mailing and read it a little more thoroughly, but if I can get the 40% off it may just be worth doing the meal plan. Waht do all my focker friends think?

I do have a couple of questions. Do I have to get tickets for everyday to get the meal plan for everyday? I thought I had read somewhere that only the purchase of a one day ticket was needed. Was I wrong on this? HEEEELLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG!!!! Janet this is awesome news, I am sooooo excited for you:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Sorry, don't know about the tix questions, but here's a woohoo for you:woohoo:

OMG!!! I need that, too! How do I get one? Who do I have to sleep with? :lmao: Is that a pin # specifically for you?

If it's what I think it is - the 40% is off your room only ressie. Can't do a package. Don't quote me on that. BUT the good news: From what I've read on the codes boards, the 40% code is pretty much equivalent to free dining. That's awesome!

ETA: If it's 40% off a PACKAGE, then you'll only need to buy tix for 1 day per person to add the DDP! Go Janet, go Janet!!! :woohoo:

Well we can book you on the ADR as it will be easier to take you off than put you on :thumbsup2

Exactly, especially after last year :goodvibes

Thanks Jo!

I think you should stay at Pop and put the 250 to use elsewhere. How much time are you in the room? Doesn't Pop have the great food court?

Agreeing with Mo. POR was nice, the food court at POFQ was teeny tiny though. Plus the room is good enough to sleep in and not too scary. The sink is outside of the bathroom.

That's awesome Janet!!!! :yay: Uh not sure how the package thing works. I think the DDP is on the number of NIGHTS you're staying, but you have to get at least 1 day of park tix for everyone. That's my understanding, don't know how much has changed for this year.

Jo, I've got an Uncle Loo. :rolleyes1
You would have :rotfl2:

Hey Jo, would Buzz be considered wonky?
I think Buzz is more wacky than wonky :lmao:

You guys and your tweaking :rotfl2: That's great about the code Janet hope it's as good as it sounds :yay: From what I've read you only need to buy a 1 day pass to get the DDP!

OK advice I want to do one 2 credit TS and I'm between California Grill and Narcossee's, opinions please :thumbsup2
