In fact I have many emails to add to the list. I just keep moving them to my "new info to enter" folder and haven't tackled that in a week at least.
There are 19 more people to add!!!

lisa we are more than likely in this group. I even finally have DW excited about this cruise and she hates to fly. She Say's I can barely fly to Florida she doesnt know how she will be able to make to to California

If there are alot of NYers Paula it's because schools here don't start back until after Labor Day, so alot of our kids won't have to miss. Our three other DCL cruises at the end of August played out the same way. But for the record......us NYers get a bad rap......we're really okay people! (Even us NYers that now call NJ home!)

Ours started 8/15/06 and next year 8/13/07. That is why we didn't get to Adam on the last TPC cruise in 05. He would have missed 2 first 2 weeks of school.

BTW, I only know really nice people that are from NY.

Just in comparison. I had a balcony cabin for 4 booked on the NCL Gem for 4/19/08 for $3700.00. A Cat. 6 on the Disney Magic for the same week priced out at $6100.00. Plus I can drive to NY & save about another $2,000.00. The NCL Gem will be brand new this November, has a family pool with a huge slide, bowling alley, Casino, & 10 restaurants to choose from every night, great food, & shows. On the NCL Dawn, they have a show called Bollywood with unbelievable acrobatics, costumes, music, etc. There is an all night cafe that serves burgers, wings, shepards pie, etc. The buffet restaurant even has a kid's buffet area serving kid's fare & has small tables. Very cute! We even got some pretty neat towel animals & chocolates every night.

Now the fact that you choose when & where you eat means you don't end up having the same rapport you do with your servers on DCL and NCL does not keep the kids during meal times. Just the fact that you get that Disney pixie dust feeling, Disney characters, or Disney shows can be worth paying significant more to some people. Okay just about everyone here, which is also why we canceled our inexpensive cruise to take our "trip of a lifetime" on a Magical cruise, but I've never had a bad time on any cruise we've taken whether it was NCL, RCCL, or DCL. A bad day on any cruise is better than a good day at home.

Diane I really want to do the Gem. It looks awesome! While were waiting for the 2011/2012 maiden voyages, lets do a jaunt on the Gem shall we? They have that private deck with 10 cabins or so that have access to their own pool and hot tub. Anyone Game? Well if we win the Mega Millions for over $200 million tomorrow we'll treat everyone!

that's true...there are alot of ny'ers. i'm not from the city though. where are all the ny'ers here from? i'm looking for help on an upcoming nyc trip. we've been once...but never with kids. we plan on taking our older 2 to the city in may. looking for some fun, exciting things to do with them. it's just a day trip, and i know we'll need to hit the AG store, and the Disney store. i really want to show them some sites too. can anyone recommend a book...or just give me some tips??

Well I don't want to whine or anything, but my Monday sucked. DH & had a big argument & that upset the kids & I would go into it, but I don't think everybody needs or wants to hear all my dirty laundry. Wanna meet for a drink?

Great Deal! I love TJ Maxx for their luggage. Your post reminds me of how stupid I was last winter. They had a whole line of kipling luggage there for about $40. Well, I didn't buy it when I saw it and when I went back they were all gone . I could have kicked myself.

DW had to institute a policy that if we see something we've talked about getting more than 3 times then we get it when we see it! Can't tell you the number of times we've seen something (usually on sale or even clearance) and mentioned that we would "need" such a thing. But then, of course, when we don't get it and go back....it's gone!

So now, we (I) get it and then decide if we really need it or not...returns are easy, not having it when we needed it is a pain!

We have planned one dismeet for 1st day @3. No fun t-s***, no door signs, and no talk of blender parties..................
But there seems to be alot of availability in every cat. I posted earlier that I have 2 SPH rooms for 4 and it is $7132. (with ins no/tr) Which INMO is a little steep. One of the rooms we had booked on board so it was 10% off. Comparitively, I thought TPC repo was a deal!

Sure Pal, how's about a cyber drink? Yummy, mine's a Blue Hawaiian. Here's yours...it's called a Bloody Husband. It's similar to a Bloody Mary, except instead of Mary you add Husband and shake, shake, shake until you've removed the smug look off his face! Here have another Feeling better already? I thought so!
