glow stuff
You know the kids have a glow party on every cruise and we always take a boatload of glow stuff including some cool goodies for the counselors. When we came walking into the glow party all decked in glow stuff they were so excited.......they said that made them feel good because they knew we were excited about it........My kids ended up trading like bartering with all the counselors and they both ended up with new things.......It would be kinda cool to come up with a glow t-**** for the kids for glow night.......
I am so far behind! Oh, well I'll get use to it. I had 2 pirate moments today where I had to laugh!
At work I was talking to one of the lawyers about a complaint I had investigated. He introducted me to another lawyer who was working on a suit reagrading FMLA. We were talking and I went to say that under the protection of ... and all of a sudden the word parley popped into my head! I really had to fight the urge not to say, "Under the protection of parley the person can not be harmed until the parley is complete!" LOL!I did manage to say that under the protection of FMLA nothing can be done untill ..... LOL! Of course the two lawyers I was talking to would of thought I was nuts!

Than the second thing was I dropped $40 at Target dollar spot on POTC items! They had lanyards, pencils, note pads, bandanas, jewlery, socks and flip flops. And some Hello Kitty thrown in. I told the cashier we were pirate happy. She said there's nothing wrong with that!
I've done lost it!![]()

I get glow braclets on ebay. The last order was 50 for 1000...so 5.00 a tube of 100. I kept 300 of them & the rest went to the PTO for fundraiser at the carnival & school dance. DS loves giving them out at the pirate party to other kids he just sees there.![]()
Well DW is something of a "camera snob" as I call her. It's Nikon or Leica all the way!! (She has an old Leica G-III her dad brought back from Germany during WWII)
For you Canon--or worse, Kodak--users, don't worry, it's nothing personal if she sneers at your cameraIt's just that her training as an artist gave her some very strong views against the Golden Gods of Kodak et al. He university used Agfa film, Ilford paper and Nikon cameras...anything less and you're putting your academic life at risk of dismal failure!
So when she FINALLY went digital a few years ago--she was a purist until a camera shop guy showed her that even if she brought in a roll of Agfa, they would still process/print the pictures with the digital machine!
She hadn't realized that digital had penetrated so far into the mainstream!
Her camera uses compactflash and her primary card is a Lexar Professional
http://www.lexar.com/digfilm/cf_pro.html
Though her's is an older model that runs at 80X instead of the current crop of 133X cards. I noticed that SanDisk has their new Extreme III and Extreme IV cards available but the 4Gb+ cards are still quite pricey. We need to go with the higher-end/speed cards because of her Nikon's rapidfire mode...don't want to loose any shots due to a slow-writing card!
I actually need a new camera, probably a small, shirt pocket type for times when the big Nikon wouldn't be prudent to carry around. Our good friend got a 7MP Lumix/Leica and it's really nice!
