I just received some bad news. A dear DCL CM that checked us in for our first cruise back in August 2003 is in ICU and not doing very well from what I was told a short while ago. This is a very dear sweet lady who my family has grown very fond of the past few years. I have attached a photo of Tanya below, could you please say some extra prayers and send for Tanya and her DH at this most difficult time. Thanks so much!!!

Remington was a beautiful dog, very similar to our Duncan who we lost about 2 years ago.

I just came home from the dermatologist. Just got my first fotofacial for my rosacea. I think my face hurts......maybe alot but the numbing gel is still working.

Our family is pretty tall too. I'm no Amazon, but I am little over 5'8". DH, however, is 6'7". My DS12 just passed me up in height, a fact he just loves! His pediatrician says he'll probably end up being about the same height as his Dad or even a little taller. I simply can't keep up with him lately. He seems to grow overnight. No telling how tall he will be by next summer!

Ok, who wants to sign up for an excursion in Cartagena with Mary's 6'7" Black belt DH.

WARNING - TOTALLY OT
I cannot figure out my water bill. They were saying on the news that the city is going to start gouging people who are "heavy users". Well, as I look at my bill today, I am pretty close. I REALLY do not get this. There are 4 of us. DH and I shower daily (less if we do it at the health club), DD's just every other day. I run the dishwasher every other day. I have a set up Neptune washer whish is supposed to be a low water user. Obviously not watering in the winter. We do have a fountain outside but I buy bottled distilled water for it.
It says we use anout 25,000 gallons a month. Does this sound correct?
No leaks, running toilets, etc either.

A friend just had to have a new line run from the street and new pipes installed in their home. They got a notice that they used 40K gallons in the past month. The plumber found that the galvanized pipes had corroded and when large truck used the driveway for roofing materials it broke the pipe under the driveway. Have you had a plumber come out & check it? They have 2A & 2K and all take showers daily but that was still an excessive amount of water. Their backyard is terribly saturated. Thank goodness they have a big ditch running along the back of their property.

Nope, not yet. I honestly blamed it on Bill (DH). He has always worked out of the house and I just thought he was secretly wasting water. Now that I am working at home as well, it has not gotten a lot better. I probably will have someone come look at it. Honestly I am not even sure where the water meter is. If is where you cut off the water in front - that has so much debris, cobwebs etc in there, it had not been opened in years.
I am very happy to report that the electric and gas bill has gone way down since I am here all day. I flip off lights all day.

Hi Everyone,
It's raining here in Redondo Beach - we TIVO our favorite programs and tonight seems like a good night for popcorn and TV. DD Lori will have a long commute tonight - traffic reports = lousy conditions. She isn't that far miles wise but with all the cars on the road its horrible.
Seems like we have a wide range of heights from Hazel at 4'7" (or is it 8") to 5'10" - I'm 5'7" and Lori is 5'6" -(my DH is 5'11")
My free minute is over - got to take GS Matt out of the tub.
Oh, and Andy - I'm adding Tanya to my prayer list.
