Maureen,
That was my shop, the one in Great Kills. Have you ever been there? I moved to Charleston in September, not too far from Target. I had a fire in the store last April (an 11 year old kid set it, long story) and my landlord never fixed it. So my husband owns a construction business, and they have a yard where they keep their trucks and materials, and there is a decent sized house on it. He offered it to me, and I rent from them now. It is on Androvette Street (off Arthur Kill Road) and there is plenty of parking, which is the one thing my customers really love. At the other store, I had no parking at all.

Oh my goodness!!!! That is terrible! I hope that the kid was punished and his/her parents didn't pull the "not my kid" routine. :sad2:

Now that would be my ideal job!!! Working in a SB store! :goodvibes Maybe I would actually get something done.

Lisa,
Unfortunately, I don't get as much done as I would like:confused3 , but I did complete a whole album of our last Disney cruise (40 pages). I am afraid of what this one will be, but I know it's going to be such a great trip that those pictures will get developed and scrapped right away....:rotfl: :rotfl:

There will be lime green bracelets to be worn to ID the group.

Cool!!! I love lime green . . .especially on bracelets. The boys love the bracelets, too . . .well if we can get DH10 NOT to eat them . . .

Your DH is 10 and eats things like bracelets????:confused3

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I am really not sure what is going on right now, I went to court back in August and have not heard anything since. Not much they can do to an 11/12 year old under the law. There were witnesses, but then no one wanted to give a statement in the long run, most of them were kids. But then one of the store owners from across the street had seen the whole thing and was supposed to go in and ID the kid, I must call the prosecutor and find out what happened.

Oh, and as far as the mother goes, not exactly compliant, and I would call her a few other things (if you know what I mean), but this is a Disney board.
Never met the father throughout the whole deal, so I think you might guess what we're dealing with here.

Everyone have a great day! It's off to work:surfweb:

Alternatively, maybe I could get my pal to run an L5R adventure for us - he is NOT on the sailing... but when have you last had a chance to play in a game that was being run by the guy who is writing the books that define the game? This would be like playing in a private game run by Gary Gygax in the 80s!!! Well... maybe it's more like having the editor/line developer who FOLLOWED Gary Gygax after he retired! Anyway... I am in a play by blog game for L5R.

Did you hear Gary Gygax will be at GenCon Indy this year?:cool1:

At the end of March I'm off with my Mum to Ecuador and Peru for 3 and a half weeks.

Then maybe another trip to somewhere a little closer to home later in the year.

Robert is going to India with his Mum in November.

Paula, That sounds like a great trip! I have never been to that side of the world.

Lessee, we leave for Hawaii in 33 days. We figured we'd go now while it is close. Plus, I'll get to mark off another state I've visited (42 so far).

We'll spend the summer homeless & wandering the country. Vacation? Demented and sad, but a vacation.

DH is running the WDW Marathon in Jan. '08 & I'm skating the WDW In-line Marathon in April '08 (these will only be long weekend type trips.)

Which islands are you going to? We are going to the Big island for 6 nights and a week in Kaui Princeville area.

Well, I have 2 scrapbooks for our first cruise 12/03 with 20 pages each...actually probably 40 because there are 20 inserts in each one. I haven't done our other cruises yet but I have the scrapbooks for all of them along with tons of paper & extras. I just need to decide on the themes & order the pictures. I think that I am going to skip a couple & do our last one 12/06 first.

Good morning! I am enjoying a cup of coffee and catching up until I have to head off to work.
Paula

Well, I am going to sign off here...so behave guys. LOL! I am going to work on the website info this morning so that I can work out in the garage this after when it gets up to a balmy 52 degrees. A cold front is moving in tonight so this is a short break from the 20-30s for us.

My problem is, I spend all of my spare surfing moments (when I am sitting on a boring CC or waiting for my computer to crunch some numbers) catching up here and I am not sure I've read the main boards in a few days. Hope I don't miss any useful information there.

There are other threads???:confused3 Oh yeah... I remember now. They were the ones I got to read after our Dec cruise and before this one!:rotfl:

Wonder what the post record is for a cruise.......... we gotta be on track to beat it........ I mean 800 pages already........:thumbsup2

Mark

Believe me, we have plenty of time if that is what you want. We did almost 70,000 in less than a year on another thread. We had a ball getting to know each other and in sharing life stories, etc. We still have 18 months before this one.:goodvibes

I was SHOCKED that DD didn't mention this once this morning. We have post it notes here & there with Cinderella 3 February 6 on the fridge, the computer, and it is written on the calendar. I need to run to Target to pick one up with the special collectible pin that comes with their package. I am going to put it away though and tell her that she didn't remind me this morning so I forgot. :rolleyes1 DS did tell me but I told him to keep it quiet to see if she would remember. LOL!

I'll be getting on for Dina for Valentines Day.:goodvibes

No no no! I don't see the jughandle turn to get to Jersey!

Ok. So are jughandles a Jersey thing?? At least we are getting rid of most circles!!

ACK! The Noon news just said "Cruise lines including Royal Carribean and The Disney Cruise Line will soon be ending the use of trans-fats in their foods."

What will happen to the highly hydrogenated Mickey Bar? :scared1:

The whole country is going non-trans-fat! I also heard the GS cookies this year have 0 transfat, but it doesn't say it anywhere on the box. If they did, they sure do taste good anyway!:thumbsup2
