Who says that I am handling it? LOL! It was a little slow here this afternoon so I worked on the bios a while. Spreadsheets are easy for me to manipulate so I don't mind doing that kind of work. I am so glad that I am doing the manifest differently for this cruise group though. Live & learn!

Yes, I did see that!
It looks almost the length my hair is now. LOL

My youngest just makes my heart melt. They are so cute at this age but she's a real ham. She did a cheer for me earlier that she made up- all about how she wanted a drink. And then she just came in here with much presence (all ta-da and a dance for me, princess style) to let me know she was in her nightgown.
I heart her.

You guys, I think I'm going to have to go to the dr soon. I have been having consistent headaches (usually progressing to migraines) almost every night for quite some time now. I kept thinking it was just stress- but it's every night? I don't have stressful schedules EVERY NIGHT- yanno? Then I thought it was on the computer but it's happening even if I'm off the computer for almost a day and starting up before I get on the computer. It's kinda scaring me. I'm popping tylenol every night and usually it does nothing. I had some migraine stuff awhile back that worked well but I'm out of it and keep trying to make do with tylenol.



(so anyway, if I come across as cross with anyone or snippy or whatever... I'm blaming it on the migraine. 'k? seriously...)

Actually all my kids are named after relatives that passed when I was young. Around 8-10yrs old I lost a lot of maternal family members for various reasons.

DS is named after my favorite relative...my great Uncle Willy. He was a priest for over 50 years in NY. I never met him but he always wrote to me with words of encouragement while I was growing up & thru college and beyond. He died when I was 22. I have every one of his letters & I treasure them. When I got my baby book stuff there was a letter in the cards from him welcoming me to the family. That one made me cry since it was after his death. I think that he is the person who had the greatest influence on me growing up and I have told DS about him and why he is special to me. He likes the fact that he has a special guardian angel looking over him. His middle name is a variation of DH's.

DD's middle name is for my dearest friend growing up. Her home was a haven for me growing up to get away from all the bad things. It was a real treat to sleep over her house. I still call her Mom when I need that kind of contact. The perfect thing about it is that when we were looking up names to use with it I saw what Marie meant....wished for child. That is perfect for her.

Verandah Gran is Verandah Man's mother, who may be called upon to stay with Verandah Man's DD if Verandah Man's Plan for the 20 Day cruise goes into effect.

I'd love to be a part of the Verandah Clan, but I don't know that I can be that creative with my name. (But I do like Pina Coladas!)

My dd played the flute for a couple years in ES but then lost interest....
We only owed another hundred or so on the rental but i couldn't see buying it when she was giving it up...

Me, DH, DS (14 by then), DD (11 by then).

I know I'm cruising with Bellelinus (Hey Julie ), we met on the Wonder in August 2006. I'm a newbie to these big DIS cruises though. This looks like it's going to be alot of fun.
