Andrew, looking at that picture I have to ask if that was just a small area that they swam in. It looks like a regular pool.

Two pools that was the small one you split into two gropus and one goes to the large pool area in a viewing stadium first, then you swap, pictures taken at the small one.

Oh good grief.

I've tried my derndest to get caught up but to no avail. Ever since DH shocked me by actually booking this cruise - I never thought he'd take that much time off work for a vacation but certainly dreamed - I've been trying to read through this thread to see who's who and what's what. But every time I make a small dent I have to go take care of life. And by the time I come back to the computer I'm drowning in pages again. (I've never gotten any closer than "30 pages to go".) I guess I'll have to resort to the Cliff's Notes.

So I'll just jump in now and introduce myself.

 Hi, I'm Robin. You've already "met" DH, ohanafamily. We have a 2 yo son, Ian, and Squirt

on the way. By the time this cruise rolls around Ian will be 3 1/2 and Squirt will be 15 mo. This will be our 5th DCL cruise, the last one - DVC Member Cruise - back in October.

I've been trying to send in our family info for the website but keep getting SA message. Guess I need to have DH look at it again, tell me what I have set up incorrectly still. :confused3

I can't tell you how excited I am about this cruise. Actually I think I'm still kind of in shock. My dream has been to to back-to-back 7-days but this is even better! I look forward to getting to know everyone here over the next 18 months and then meeting y'all onboard!

Welcome, Robin! I have to say that I LOVE your sig image. Too cute! :goodvibes

Hello, again! This is just an FYI for everyone. The place where we can get the rubber braclets made would run around .50 each. There are adult & kid's sizes available. They could be mailed out so you can have them before the cruise. I figure that an order of 600-700 should cover this group, allowing for people to order 2 each just in case since it is such a low cost. These are the designs that we used last time so they are on file. I think that one should be a skull & crossbones for Pirates.

Oh yes ...has to have a skull and crossbones ...LOL

Nothing says Pirates like Skull and crossbones ...LOL

Sounds fun! BF and I are in!!!

He will wear jewelry..YES he will!:rotfl2:

OK, it's official....I can't keep up anymore! When I last checked this thread you guys were up to page 512 (Thursday evening)...now we're in the 700's!
There's no way I can read almost 200 pages and still take care of everything else I have to do. Keeping up means I may: #1) lose my job and #2) lose my husband....neither of which I want to do. Soooo....guess i'm resigned to reading those 500-post recaps that are so nicely added to page 1.
Please, please continue to put all the important stuff on page 1, so people like me will at least be able to find it.

OK, I can't believe I just did this, but I had to share this with a "few" of my closet friends, LOL!!!

I just got a quote for the 5 day sailing of the Magic on 9-1-08 for just Hazel and I in a cat. 11, if I can swing it, and pull it off, I'm going to use this as a surprise 33rd Wedding Anniversary gift to her. The price came in a just a tad over $1200, I first got a quote for a cat. 9, but since it would just be the two of us, the $$ saved from a cat. 9 to a cat. 11, would help cover our tips for the 5 nights.

Can you imagine 20 nights on the Magic in a row and three stops at Castaway Cay within days of itself!!! Talk about your back to back cruises, I think my retirement date of June 1, 2010 might be extended, LOL!!! :rotfl2:

:wizard: Wish me luck, I think I'm going to need it!!!!!:wizard:

AWWWWWW!!!! That is so sweet, Andy! So you will kick the kid off the ship with your mom on 9/1? :lmao:

Questions for repeat EB Reepers or West Coast cruisers.

1. What port/terminal are we sailing out of in LA?

2. If we use DCL transportation, where do they pick you up from?

3. Does DCL use their normal buses or just lease some generic ones on the West Coast?

4. Is there a car rental place near the LA port?

5. What is the Terminal like in LA? Is it similar to Port Canaveral? Do they do the numbering system? If anyone has a picture, that would be great.

Thanks.

What is the story behind this picture, Andrew?

It was one of the gifts you got in your stateroom every so often something would turn up, the Panama book, this photo, note it shows the adjusted ports, not Cabo, it was printer after the hurriciane made us miss Cabo,

This is a picture of CEO and Captain Tom on the bridge of the Magic during the PC tansit and it was free! Nice one!

Only someone in government could lie so well! and expect to get away with it, next you will say is Mickey isnt REAL! and Tigger thumps people!

PS I will tell my doctor that when I see him next: thanks.

Now Now ....I didnt say that cause I am for one person or another ..I was just hoping the Politics woudl never enter on a Disney thread ...thats all

Happy Super Bowl Sunday you crazy Pirates!!

It is a big mistake to take a day off from this thread. I spent hours catching up on yesterday's free for all!

I am going to have to start taking my lap top with me wherever I go.

3. Does DCL use their normal buses or just lease some generic ones on the West Coast?
LAST TIME IT WAS DISNEYLAND BUSES

A modern proffesional one, no style like DCL port C, but they did inflate a big Mickey on the roof. It reminds me of most Airports, lots of space, and usual check ins for casterway members, non residents etc.

Numbering system I think was first introduced here and then PC followed.
