We are right there with you. We should be building a new deck and refinishing our wood floors but we cruise instend. I guess when the house falls down we will just have to rent. Lois

Perhaps we could rent a room on the Magic :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Hey guys, we could be into something here :scratchin :scratchin

You will see me using the stairs everynight except formal and Pirate night , then walking deck 4 in the morning and right to the gym after that for about an hour .....I am not going to have to worry about me clothes fitting ...LOL

I'll be there with ya! If I don't get 30-45 minutes of cardio in 4-5 times a week I feel like a slug (like this week!) Also need to do that weight training - it allows me to eat more later!

Oh Yes ...Run for the Hammocks ...I can hear it now ....the Charriots of Fire playing in the Background ....Pirate Flags being held up high ...kids getting knocked over ....Oh Yes , I remember the run for the Hammocks ....do we need to start handing out runners numbers and have a starters pistol ??:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Hi, we are new to this thread, and all I can say is WOW. We just booked this cruise on Friday (thanks to someone who opted out, we were able to get a Cat 6). We were originally sailing on the Med cruise on 7/28, but had to cancel due to personal reasons. So we are DEFINITELY in for this one. :yay:

A little about us, my name is Debi and my DH is Dominick (a/k/a) Micco. We are both 47 and live in Staten Island, New York with our 2 DDs (Alex and Briana), currently age 19 and 16. Alex will be 21 by the time we sail, and Briana 18 (graduating from HS in June).

I am going to try to start catching up this thread (not sure which way is the best to go backwards, maybe...) and will email all of our info this week. I can't believe there are over 700 pages already.

We look forward to getting to knowing you, and we are really excited about this trip. We did the Mexican Riviera 2 years ago, and met a really great group of people whom we have stayed friends with.

Debi

:welcome: Welcome, Debi :welcome: :welcome:

You paint a good picture!

You know this one like last time will have a very high number of repeat cruisers and Dissers on it that spells trouble,
The question is How do you tell a Disser? You cant as they already know!
Yest 15 days at sea but thoose Palo ressies, the hammock rush, There will not be many people who do not know in fact with little advertisin apart from here I think most of the ship will have a connection to this board!

Hello, again! This is just an FYI for everyone. The place where we can get the rubber braclets made would run around .50 each. There are adult & kid's sizes available. They could be mailed out so you can have them before the cruise. I figure that an order of 600-700 should cover this group, allowing for people to order 2 each just in case since it is such a low cost. These are the designs that we used last time so they are on file. I think that one should be a skull & crossbones for Pirates.

RM I often wondered the same thing between a 5 and a 6?

Deck levels its considered to be better the higher you are in cruising, for 5/6 that is the only difference.

8/9 again only deck levels
Category 8 & 9 The Category 8 and 9 rooms are considered deluxe outside staterooms (meaning they have a large porthole window.) The category 9 staterooms located on deck 1 have two smaller porthole windows. At 214 sq. ft., these staterooms sleep 3 (with some sleeping 4) and they are among the first categories to book on the ship, as the price on these staterooms is very competitive. Each room contains one queen bed (or two twin beds) a single convertible sofa, and a split-bathroom design. Category 8 staterooms are located on decks 5,6 and 7. Category 9 staterooms are on decks 1 & 2.

Great Lisa! We would definately order 2 each. Also agree about adding a skull and crossbones.

You and My Sweet Melissa would get along fine ...she has about the same routine

Nice thing for us is the lil one goes to shuttles cove , the older DS goes to the Teen wild thing and me and the DW head over to SB and there is always a nice hammock avail there ...we stay there for a couple of hours and then comebike and get the DS's and either go snorkeling or for a bike around the island or both .....Ahhhhh that sounds so nice right now ...
