This totally sucks - they should pay whatever the difference is between when it was booked and when they make the change (at the very least!)

Wow looks like DH's security folks are actually on the ball! Mine of course are pretty decent (unlike my last facility, they were a bunch of humourless b******s!) but they are still chewing on the whole pot call to Columbia! So I pretty much told the one guy the same thing you did--I don't care what they eventually decide, we're going on this cruise! I mean it's not like we're going to Columbia and then over to the Caymans!

I must admit I made a mistake previous (very sorry)

I thought there were NO veranda 6 QUADs left at 8AM (25 minutes ago) but now there are catagory 6 QUADs available. And I am looking back at my records and ... at 8AM there it is again. So I must have misread my records TWICE ... because I thought I looked twice. I think I am a little fatigued or sleepy... give me more time and I'll dream up more excuses.

At any rate - my sincere apolagies for posting inaccurate information 25 minutes ago. I owe a few folks a mickey bar by way of regrets here.

So I just booked online. Cat 6 gty.
If only I had just done that 2 hours ago.



But at least were booked now...now the fun part, how am I going to pay this???????

The prices for excursions and Palo are set on the websire, they don't have a price range. But I guess anything is possible with DCL these days...

Oh, I thought you were talking about the prices for the staterooms!
but at this point I wouldn't count on everything staying the same. Last time when we booked 2yrs in advance (or almost that) prices did change by the time we went on the cruise- Palo was more, spa stuff was more (and they made recent changes on that too I believe?), and REAS pkg was more while receiving less/different things on that pkg.So don't count on nothing changing by the time Aug 2008 comes around.

I'm beginning to wonder-do you think the EB repo cruise will be COMPLETELY BOOKED in one day? And if so, would that be a record for them? LOL

For those of you still on hold, don't give up. When I got through, the price the real person gave me was less than what the website was quoting. Still higher than at 5am, though. At least we're in. I feel like I've accomplished a great feat, but I'm truly exhausted now.

So here is my rationalization: There are 563 days 'til we sail. That means I am paying the low-low price of just $12.10 a day to hang out with a bunch of pirates for the next 18 months!

Don't worry, I have many more rationalizations where that came from.

I'm adopting that mantra- because for us it really IS a trip of a lifetime. This will probably be our last cruise for a really long time (mostly because of our children's ages and not keen on having very young teens with nothing to do but hang out with much older teens-and by the time one is old enough, the next one is in the same situation as a young teen just hanging out with older teens... and then again with the 3rd child LOL). So it really is a tripofalifetime. Even if we cruise again- our children will be much older or we'll be cruising alone after they are grown!
