Anyone else read about WDW's increase in ticket prices that eliminates some advance purchase discounts, reduces the number of water park admissions on some tickets.

Enter conspiracy land......

Coupled with the recent "rude" way in which DCL found a way to "gouge" a bunch of the most loyal cruisers, could it be that the Parks and Resorts is having financial difficulty and wouldn't meet their projected income......

According to the DIS podcast, tourism in Orlando area is down (although Disney never releases numbers).....

It is safe to say that while some parks may struggle, that as a whole, their projections are met. As I 'hammer' him to the rising costs of WDW, he never so gently reminds me that repeat guests want things new and improved, changes made to keep with the times and that costs $$$$$. For example, the Haunted Mansion is going through a major refurbish right now that is costing big big $$$$. And guess who pays the tab? So, being the lil' sis that I am, I then attack the big D on such items as merchandising and food and their completely overinflated pricing. I have to have the last word somehow.

We were just up at our trailer last week .

Hopefully we will be up Labor Day weekend, if not it will be Columbus weekend.
Busy the next few weekends and and once Sept comes the kids are back to school and back to CCD on the weekends. I really wish they would have religious ed on weeknights!!!!!

Thanks...good to finally be back. We were in and out of town all summer long, and I have to admit, it's pretty nice to know that we don't have any more trips planned until Christmas.

Summer is basically over for us now. Jared starts school on the 9th and Jordan should be getting the first of her home school courses any day.
