Well, we're all preparing to set out to Yankee Stadium today, should be lots of fun in the sun. Game starts at 1 PM. We'll be there between 11-11:45 PM.

Hope you and Rich had a great anniversary dinner last night.

We did and I had to take some of it home. I told DH I will need to go into training for all the food onboard next year. lol

I have been soooo out of the loop on the disboards... and have not had a chance to do kethcup... its my busy season at work... I see hints about some sort of mutiny... I assume its about the $100pp upcharge...

I have to say, the fact that DU is upping the OBC was very nice of them...

hopefully I will get caught up when I go to Yankee Game today!... and hopefully we will see history being made!

Good morning everyone! I'm afraid I missed chat last night - I was working on my Grandma's birthday gift and totally forgot it was chat night. She is 99 today! I bought her a digital picture frame and was selecting and loading photos on it last night. The frame has a 9:6 ratio which of course isn't what photos usually are, so I cropped every one to the right size so they would look nice and not have the black bars alongside. I think the frame looks better in "landscape" position, so it was a little challenging since I have a tendancy to take most of my pictures in "portrait"!

Grandma is rather amazing - she still lives on her own. She has some help that comes in a few days per week to help her with stuff like laundry and little chores that are getting difficult for her. Of course, her older cousin is 102 and rapidly recovering from a cracked hip bone! Her younger cousin is 95 and she golfs several times per week! Those "Anderson girls" (as they are still called back in their Iowa hometown ) are pretty tough cookies!

I'll be going to visit her later today, so I won't be here much. See ya'll later....

A Rod just hit a 3 run home run in the bottom of the 1st inning for the Yankees(photo below). Yankees are up 3-0. I guess Pete and the rest of the DISmeet gang are jumping for joy right about now!!! A Rod's #500 home run!!!
