GM

Presently 70 going up to 82 here in Sunny

Happy Birthday Karen & Susie

Have a great Saturday
The Magic is getting closer to land!!!
After following the "Live Report Thread" this week, I'm not sure if I could take six sea days in a row...........![]()
And I have an all-day scrapping on Saturday. I might finally get some books finished!
What a start, are you sure it isn't Friday the 13th???
Spent 3 Disney Reward Dollars yesterday to have our Central AC and Furnace serviced for the year. Wake up this morning to chilly house 53* and turned the furnace on. The blower fan came on but not the burner. A serviceman will be here within the hour to see what the problem is.
I get to work figuring I can warm up in my work car, the heater in my work car is not working, so now I have to drop my work car off to the mechanic. I think the thermostat in the car is not working as the gauge did not move up at all this morning.
Did I mention, this morning started off with dropping my ST at school giving me an attitude? Then on the way home, from dropping ST off, I was nearly in an accident. I feel like climbing back into bed and hiding under the covers the rest of the day..........![]()
Oh, the serviceman just called back, he is on his way here now, Hazel will be happy!!!![]()
Gotta run and drop my work car off...........![]()
Hey Everybody,
Well, my classes are finally over for the summer (I got A's and A-'s)! Hopefully I'll be able to keep up with you guys a little better now.
Riddle me this: How is it that some gas stations--within 100 yards of another--will have prices that are 20¢ higher across the board than a nearby competetor yet still have several costomers? I don't mean Shell vs. Fly-by-night whose gas is made from fresh-squeezed diapersI mean Shell vs. Philips 66 or Conoco or Chevron. And not just stations that aren't within visual sight of each other, or across an intersection where people might not want to take the extra 3 minutes to go around...I'm talking right next door to each other!

Gold Nugget Triathlon
May 20, 2007
Number of entries: 1200
Entry slots left: 0
Average age: 36
No. of first timers: 453
Oldest entrant: 71
Youngest entrant: 6
So here is my question: should I set my sights on beating the 71-year-old woman or the 6-year-old girl?

I wrote all the information down, then read my horoscope in today's newspaper. It stated "DO NOT" make any major purchases today......![]()

Thank you for my
PIR
PS I wouldnt do six days at sea in a row!!!! The PC in 2005 was just ok! The 2008 is better with more ports!
One of the nice things about cruising (IMHO) was being disconnected from work, etc.
But....
From Ship to Shore: Disney Cruise Line Now Offers Cell Phone Service at Sea
CELEBRATION, Fla. (May 11, 2007)-- Disney Cruise Line guests will soon have another way to share their vacation highlights with friends and family back home when the cruise line unveils cell phone service at sea. Disney Cruise Line has partnered with Wireless Maritime Services (WMS) to provide a wireless cellular network aboard the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder.
Subscribers of more than 340 cellular providers worldwide, including US carriers, Cingular Wireless, Verizon Wireless, AT&T Mobility, Sprint, T-Mobile and Alltel, will be supported on the network. Those guests who still look for a cruise vacation as a way to escape need not worry--service will be available only in guest staterooms.
Guests who choose to use the network will be billed by their cell phone provider and rates will vary according to the carrier's plan. The ship's network will be enabled, while the ship is at sea, allowing guests to make and receive phone calls as well as utilize text messaging, email and other cellular services. While in port, the network will be disabled, allowing guests the ability to access local cell phone providers.
Cell phone service will begin onboard the Disney Magic in time for the first-ever transatlantic voyage on May 12. The Disney Wonder will follow adding service sometime mid-summer. Last year, Disney began to offer wireless internet access onboard the two ships, but when the service premieres on the Disney Magic in May, it will mark the first time guests will be able to use their cell phones during the cruise.
Wireless Maritime Services, (WMS), a joint venture of Cingular, now the new AT&T, and Maritime Telecommunications Network, is the leader in providing world class roaming, service and support focused solely on the cruise line industry.
A leader in the family cruise segment, Disney Cruise Line offers three-, four- and seven-night itineraries to the Bahamas and the Caribbean. Seven-Night Land & Sea vacation packages that include a stay at Walt Disney World Resort are also available. To learn more about Disney Cruise Line or to book a vacation, guests can contact their travel agent, visit disneycruise.com or call Disney Cruise Line at 888/DCL-2500. Travel agents can call Disney Cruise Line at 888/325-2500 or visit disneytravelagents.com.
