As long as it's only available in guest rooms, I think it's a good idea. For us, it would be for emergencies only. I won't even let my work know that it's an option. Actually, I won't even be at the one job that might call me, so that won't be an issue. Now as long as my Mother-in-law doesn't find out.....

Sensible for rooms only, you do not wish to be resting on a sunbed nd havesomeone on the phone chatting next to you.. On holiday in Greece one lady went outside our villa and talked non stop very loud, from 1am to 4am,

She went into Italian as well, her bill would have been high. So was my BP.

:wave2: all - did I miss anything? :confused3 I'm been MIA for a while. Have no idea where to begin. Guess I have to pick a spot and go back. Maybe I'll try 1 day back. Let's see how long this will take.

Later!

Geez - this board has sure slowed down a lot. Guess I'll check in later.

OK Paula--talking about pics taken when growing up, here is a pic of my Dsis and I, way back when. One of these days, I'm going to lose my "baby fat"..................................:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

How precious! How is your knee doing?:)

 .....dwattes, no room # yet.

jackets will be wasted space?

LG, we sure didn't need a jacket last time. But it was kinda cool at DL. But no jacket needed.:)

Happy Saturday evening. It's been cold and damp here all day.

Interesting start to the morning. There was a barricaded (sp?) gunman a couple of streets away. Turn out to be a 60 year old man who had some kind of fight with an adult child and threatened to kill his family. I guess it started at 4 am when he fired a shot. When I heard that I was concerend that we would have trouble getting out of our neighborhood. All ended well and peacefully around 10:30 AM. When we left around 9:30 for softball the police had several streets blocked. My friend and I were concerned because a couple of families from dd's school lived down that street.

Well softball officially started today. Pictures were at 10 and a scrimmage at 11. It was cold!!!!! Got dd's game schedule last night and she has M & W games until July 4th and then 1 game after that. Then the picnic and tournament. Her team did good today.

It's time for me to play ketchup!

Now we can look forward to those awful cell phone calls during meals, at the pool, during the shows and everwhere. :headache:

That is NOT good news! :sad2:

:scared1:

Thanks. I feel so much better now. :lmao:

Good. Even though I have a cell phone, I still hate 'em. Especially the people who go to the super market and carry on a conversation while they shop!:confused3 Can't they do anything alone?

Guest rooms would be good. I'm like you, don't let my employer knoe my personal number. If they want to know it, they need to issue me one!

Congrats Mike on your great grades!

Wow! All ketchuped and talking to my self!

Beautiful day here in Central Florida.Too bad tomorrow is work:surfweb:
Andy, hope your knee is feeling better.Rich seems to be struggling to walk lately and wonder if it is the change in weather. It doesn't hurt tho.

A coworker sent me an email about yet another scam. Thought I'd pass it on as I already heard form one caller at work they responded to something like this and realized it was a scam:scared1:

Most of us take the summons for jury duty seriously, but enough people
skip out on their civic duty, that a new and ominous kind of scam has
surfaced. Fall for it and your identity could be stolen, reports CBS.
In this con, someone calls pretending to be a court official who
threateningly says a warrant has been issued for your arrest because you
didn't show up for jury duty. The caller claims to be a jury coordinator.
If you protest that you never received a summons for jury duty, the
scammer asks you for your Social Security number and date of birth so he
or she can verify the information and cancel the arrest warrant.
Sometimes they even ask for credit card numbers. Give out any of this
information and .... Bingo! Your identity has just been stolen. The
scam has been reported so far in 11 states. This scam is particularly
insidious because they use intimidation over the phone to try to bully
people into giving information by pr etending they're with the court
system. The FBI and the federal court system have issued nationwide
alerts on their web sites, warning consumers about the fraud.

I don't know about anyone else, but if you get a call like this, your first response is to try to rectify the problem. So just a heads up:thumbsup2
By the way, I checked and it is on the FBI website.

Sounds like the cruisers are having a better day today.Tomorrow they dock.

How precious! How is your knee doing?:)

Let's just say that my left knee has been wrapped in the heating pad "most" of the day and night.

Angelina and I just finished watching "Poseidon", all I can say is, I'm glad we aren't cruising anytime soon. The movie tonight was Angelina's choice. I am now watching "The Pacifier" this is more my speed..........

:sad2: Brack, I didn't even think of that. :( The time change will play a role in that too. What a pain! :( I still say that the cell wont work on the ship. ;) That's all DH's job needs to know. They are use to it after 4 years so we still shouldn't have to worry about it. :thumbsup2

A note says that the board is going down any minute for hours so I guess it's TV time tonight instead of DISing. :happytv:

This was posted on the July 28th Med thread, the Magic arriving at Tenerife this morning.

Watched it very good, I like the tug fountain they did that you us in Los Angeles in 2005.

Andrew--thanks for sharing the video clip. I bet those onboard were happy to see dry land again...........;)
