Yeah - but trying explaining that to your 21 yr old that you got the hots for someone close to him. When I mentioned that Jack Hughman (spelling?) was hot with long hair - both the older two said "EEEWWWWWWWWW that's gross mom. Your not supposed to think like that!"

I have a VW Beetle and it cost me $42.00 to fill up yesterday. Nearly fell on the floor. I fill up every 5 days or so.

Well, tomorrow I'm performing my civic duty. Yay, JURY DUTY!!! (she says sarcastically). The courthouse does have a great view of LAX though.

Hope you got the chance to fry someone! I was a jury foreman a few years ago and got to send some gang-banger to jail for assaulting a lady cop. I shouldn't be so proud, but after the trial, the judge talked to us and read us the list of the kid's priors (which the lawyers had agreed would not be raised in court since he was a juvenile at the time as long as the kid did not testify) and we all felt vindicated.

So DW is all because I got a speeding ticket the other night. A real ticket this time. I was going 70 but he wrote it for 60 in a 55 zone. $60 fine, 1 point. Not that I case 'cause I don't think NM and CO trade points anyway.

I'm debating whether I should take photos of that stretch of road because there are no speed limit signs from the intersection to where the cop was sitting in the median. The road is twice as wide as the interstate and in just as desolate area. DW says to suck it up and pay the ticket.

I've often thought of fighting speeding tickets (although I only rarely get one), but then I figure (a) I was speeding and (b) I speed all the time (>10 mph over the limit is normal) so I figure the police officer earned his money catching me.

I had to give my DS10 a bit of history/geography lesson this year when he asked his Puerto Rican-born grandfather when he became an American citizen. "At birth" was his response.

NOpe - Andy - no spoiler that I'm aware of - just commented that at the airport I was looking at a cover of some magazine with those 3 dancers but no Ian or Cheryl and I though - OH NO! They got kicked off. Course I should have looked on the inside of the cover to see if it was one of those too large to fit them all on the front. My bad! Hope I didn't bring back luck on - however, assuming from their score last night then this means that Ian got his 10!!!!!!!!! YEAH! I for one can't wait to catch it on the TV tonight. I'm happy for him. (Apolo too but he's too young for me - but a gal can still dream right? ) I'm sure that's what the guys were saying when Stacy Keebler was on a few seasons back!

Hey guys thank for sharing this information with me. I had no idea such an allergy even existed. I am going to look for the alumium-free products! Hey Gabbie and HC....great minds think alike! And Tom are the white powdery types without alumium? Can you give me a brand name?

My allergy/reaction doesn't seem to be to aluminum, I have never been able to isolate the ingredient (and haven't gotten Dr. to do it either). I use the Speed Stick classic line (white not clear).

Thanks Tom I'm going to get the Speed Stick and the one that Gabbie and HC mentioned too. After the weeping sores heal that is. The poor kid is freakin' out that he may not be able to wear antiperspirant. I feel sorry for him. Since he turned 14 it seems he's not too stinky a teen after all. I suspect girls have something to do with that!
