The OB that delivered my son was a cutie! But when it came right down to the final moments...I didn't care if he looked like Brad Pitt or Mr. Hyde! I just grabbed him by the lapels of his pristine white coat and screamed in his face with my best Linda Blair impersonation...."GIVE ME DRUGS!!!!" :rotfl2:

Then there are always birthing stories... :rolleyes1

Hey Jonesing, did this truck have a military escort? I once passed a convoy escorting some long trucks in Nebraska when I was traveling cross country on I-80 and thought that it was either a missile or toxic waste.

No, no escort. I think low-level radiation transports don't need escorts. High-rad and weapons-grade stuff gets the full monty. Plus the casks are much more substantial.

Me: Dr. go get your really big knife and let's get this over with already.

Dr: What?

Me: And bring lots of drugs.....and make it quick!

The thing I find pretty cool is that you can add video to the scrapbook page and share it electronically (email, web page etc). You can print the scrapbook pages with your photo printer or use your print shop (Costco, WM etc). You can also use their digital service which will turn your pages into a bound book.

One thing I wonder about is if you take your disc of scrapbook pages to a print shop, will they give you a hard time because they will look like something that was "professionaly" made?

I may have to get this for DW because I got her Disney Magic Artist for Mother's Day but it doesn't seem to be working out like we expected.

BTW...the "duck" lady from Quaker Factory will be on at 9am ET.

I haven't been impressed with my Disney Magic Artist either. It just wasn't what I thought it would be. I wish I didn't have so much $$ invested in my scrapbooking stuff. I would love to try the digital.

Hey guys thank for sharing this information with me. I had no idea such an allergy even existed. I am going to look for the alumium-free products! Hey Gabbie and HC....great minds think alike! And Tom are the white powdery types without alumium? Can you give me a brand name?

Well you can just imagine how thrilled my ST was about me discussing his armpits on the DIS :lmao: :rotfl2: ........... Come on now that's funny! You know what they say kid......Pay back's a Witch! :rotfl:

Right you are M. Baby Powder under the arms and a ST body covered in cologne...............can you just imagine....:scared1: :scared1:

Baby powder isn't a good idea. A better option would be either Gold Bond or a corn starch-based powder.

My cousin swears by that crystal deodorant. It's basically a giant salt crystal. You wet the crystal and rub it on to apply a very thin layer of salt. The sodium inhibits bacteria growth and thus eliminates odor. It does not, however, prevent sweating. DCuz likes it because there's no allergy issues. Keep in mind it works best on bare skin which is why he shaves under his arms. Not sure if your ST is willing to do that after waiting all this time for signs of manly man-ness!

A ST14 or 15 we know has taken a real liking to Axe! Once he got a talking to about being stinky, he got to hit Target and loaded up on the Axe products  So now he's still a ST but at least it's pleasant....'cause you can evidently smell the bodywash, deodorant and body spray from 10' away!

Methinks she's trying to find justification for getting a Brazilian! :teeth:

How do you like it there??? We are looking to buy property this September and build in 4 years.

We are really enjoying living in Florida. We aren't retired yet but alot of people here still work. The place is something you can't believe until you see it. There are 60,000 people living in The Villages and there will be about 100,000 when it is built out in four or five years. There is anything you can think of to do. We have two town squares (soon to be three) where there is music and dancing everynight. Unfortunately you can't buy here unless you take an already built home. Years ago you could pick your lot then build, now you just tell them what you are looking for and they take you to see homes that have what you're looking for. WE get to use our golf carts for anything. Grocery shopping, doctors appointments, restaurants, shopping (too many stores to mention), movies, bowling, etc. It all depends on what you are looking for but this place was hard to beat when we were looking. Especially since my DH is a golfer. There are over 17 nine hole courses and 6 championship courses on property. I guess I sound like a commercial but we have been here three years and are happy with our choice.

Paula, sorry for the dumb question, but are you high or a low price? The station where I work is usually the highest around here and they were 3.05 Sunday. I just filled up at 2.89 last night.

Arlene I was the highest when I went up. There were still stations selling gasoline for 2.89. I was 3.19 before I rasied. My cost when I raised was 3.1615 when I went to 3.39. 80% of of my gasoline is sold at the pump on credit and 95% of those have interchange/discount fees of 3-3.5%. So the cc companies make a little over 10c per gallon. And we get accused of gouging--we are just trying to make a living. I had no idea you worked at a station. What brand are you?:)

You guys are too bad :rotfl2:

HC our ST 14 smells like every AXE product from 10 ft also. That made me laugh!

Hi Jack! Say Hi to Justine for me (and hi to you too Johnna!)
