First of all AI!!!!!! O---M---G!!!!!! Jordin was AMAZING last night!!!!! I enjoy Blake's bbopping but only the first song was good for him last night IMO. The second song was just blah and the last one had no business ever coming from his diaphram. He was flat at several points & looked extremely uncomfortable...especially apparent when he was bouncing up & down in the middle of the song. Let's just say I hope that he doesn't win so that he doesn't have to ever sing This is My Now again. They always have a song like that for the final song...so it's not like they purposely chose a song that he wouldn't be able to sing. Melinda would have sung it beautifully too. I know that some people are posting that Jordin has rich parents who have given her everything but I have to say SO WHAT? They can't buy her a voice that sounds like that. That is a gift.



Now for DWTS! WHOOOO-HOOOOOO!!!!!! I am so glad that Apollo and Julliane won!!! They are such a cute couple...I read that her engagement has been postponed. Engaged at 18??? How can you know what you want at that age? I would LOVE to see this year's tour.

I knew it would be between Apolo and Joey. But Apolo deserved it.The same with the results from AI.

I have the tracks for several of our DCL cruises including the 2005 westboud PC.

The navigator has to know how to use a sextant and I have often thought about seeing if he would teach a class for us GPS geeks.

I had a visual of a bunch of Pirates on deck with the navigator, learning how to work the Sextant.What a photo op that would make.

Hazel got a call from the school nurse at 12:30 this afternoon, our poor baby is so sick. Hazel was able to get Angelina in to see the doc at 3:30 and came home with three new prescriptions. Angelina's allergies are really BAD this year and I'm not surprised as I usually don't suffer with pollen, but I'm even having trouble as of late. Angelina is in bed and Hazel just left to pick up the new meds. I sure hope they kick in fast, the Gwen Stefani concert is only 4 days away. Please send some extra this way, thanks!!!

I spent most of my teen years clutching tissues.The meds back then were too harsh for me. Put me to sleep! Took the shots for many years but they stopped working. Moved to Fl and no more allergies. They changed a bit . This year it seems to be settling in my ears. Claritin helps for me.

A lot happening on the July 28th thread and One of the regulars from here has joined us taking my Dis time away from here.

Went to Doctors, Brain Scan is ok, but on tablets to correct the headaches, considered Tension headaches at this time.

So glad everything is ok. I work with someone who has the worst headaches. She just started another drug and it seems to be working.DH has his MRI next month. WE are down to every 4 months now and soon 6 month intervals.He hates them!

I can't work under the florescent lights - they give me really bad headaches. In my office, I keep the lights off and use a desk lamp.

IT won't let us use the outlets under the desks. (altho I do occasionally)

Oldest dd is getting married this Oct and she mentioned that she would love to go on this trip, also. I don't think her df/dh would go on a *Disney* cruise...
The Sept cruise was our 3rd DCL trip (in 13 months...) and the older kids had a BLAST! And our oldest went in with a very bad attitude (we paid for them to have their cabin -- a Cat 8). At 2am the morning of the cruise I woke the younger kids up with my *speaking* to our son and telling him that when we got on the ship I was going throw him overboard if he didn't get over his attitude....
AS soon as we landed in Orladno he was over his attitude. Like 16dd always says *It's DISNEY. You can't have a bad time!*

Our first cruise,DD,DS,and DDBF were not so amused. They like the nightclub scene and didn't quite like the entertainment on the cruise. That's why the bartab was so high

Well I hope this doesn't sound too catty, but who the heck is dressing Kelly Clarkson???? I love her and I think she's adorable. Pouring herself into those clothes is a big DON'T.

HC this is just for you......I went for my M/P/W this evening! That means it's three weeks closer to our TOAL!

My DD took the DGD to Gwens concert recently. She loved it. Is it me or did they all choose the most awful songs last night? DH was sitting there saying, I don't see what Kelly is all about? Neither did I. That outfit was not the most attractive and she looked like she outgrew it.Sorry.The show was ok IMO and of course my DVR didn't get the very end. Had to rewind to see the news show after My DVR has the same time problem the Disboards have,and has a delay. I can pretend to know all the answers on any quiz show by watching upstairs and coming down casually and pretend to see the ? for the first time. The cable co doesn't seem to know how to fix it so usually I program to record past the end time but forgot last night.But got to see the end anyway.
Well tody is the start of our daycamp I guess. SChool was out on Tues and DD didn't sign them up for y camp this year. It s**ked last year.Oh she had an interview on the phone with IKEA yesterday and they want to see her in person. She really wants the job.Her present job with Pier1 dropped her hrs and she really needs to get out of there. 5 yrs is enough drama!Gotta get ready for the kids and DH has Dr appt today.

Hi Judy

Angelina has 16 days of school left for this school year. Business has been a bit off at BABW so everyone's hours have been cut back a bit. Angelina is getting a bit disappointed because this is what happened when she worked at Limited Too. Angelina is only on the schedule for one night this week. I told her to hang in there and see what happens once school lets out.

Oh andy that is so sad. I hope it all works out well. I bet more business will come in over the summer.

Why is everyone on the board soo early????? I do not function early in the morning. Today is going to be 87 and only low 70's for the weekend. I am going to lay outside and get some sunshine before the rain comes.

I told Cheryl this story but just an FYI. My DS must've grabbed DH KTTW and they used to go to the Promenade after dinner to have espresso and drinks. Well after the cruise I was going over the bills and saw the charge. I called DCL gs the day after to question who signed for the tab? This went into around 2 1/2 months of calling and getiing promises of callbacks, then the ship went into drydock and they assured me they would get the bill and finally a sup credited my Visa. I only wanted to see who signed the bill but apparently after all the promises of looking it up, I came to the conclusion they don't keep the copy after all. So especially on this trip, we should all get printouts of the charges before we leave or they won't be able to help you.
Well the summer session started here with the grandkids and already they are getting antsy. Maybe tomorrow we will have to do something with them.

And, yes, I switched my Aug. 8 10 night Med (cat 9) for BOTH the July 28 11 night Med AND the 14 night transatlantic (both Cat. 12, although my room assignment for the Aug. 18 cruise already shows a Cat. 10 room) -- and saved money! Those prices were just too good to be passed over . . .
