Another reason why I avoid the last minute madness. As soon as we get all our paper work in early Feb we are DONE. We always get a refund so there is no reason to wait. I guess if I owed I'd put it off to the last minute.

I agree. While I feel bad for those affected, I am seeing people online complaining to the IRS when the government had no role in this. These people waiting until the last minute and relied on a private company to be responsible. The IRS should charge late fees for every return received after midnight and then Intuit should agree to pay the late fees.

Well normally I do them in March and wait until the symbolic filing date 'cause in Philly it's just a big ole party down at the 30th Street main post office on Tax Day!

Now that that's over I have a new deadline to deal with...for some reason they've decided that there's the possibility that *gasp* some folks may be providing medical/dental coverage for people who are not eligible!!! So now EVERYBODY has to provide proof that the people they have on their insurance coverage is an eligible person--spouses, same-sex domestic partners, children etc. Talk about a royal PIA!!!!! They want copies of tax returns but only the first page BUT you can blot out financial data and the first 5 digits of any SSN. If you're caring for a child who isn't your own biological or adopted child, the documentation is daunting because you have to show the "chain of relationship" from you to the child. So if the child is your nephew, then you need to provide birth certificate or hospital record of the child AND birth certificate of the child’s parent AND birth certificate of you, your spouse, or your same-gender domestic partner.

Well, 'traveling' should have been your first clue. If they bus had been shown moving, well, that would have made it too easy.

And if the question had been worded your way, someone would argue, well, the bus could be backing up.

Brack glad your back but sorry to hear about the pink eye. Go to the doc and get some tobramycin! It's sad that I know that. Since dd has grow older I have gotten pinke eye twice! Never when she was a baby.

No, not at all. You answered the question correctly, so obviously you clued in quickly.

But the experimenter would say you proved his thesis that the adults would miss the obvious answer while trying to reframe the question, or look for the trick.

Just wanted to show you guys what I finished for dd's school. They are having a Fine Art Night tonight and they had school chairs that you could take and decorate for the "Chair-ity" Auction. The theme was storybooks.

It has been awhile since my last post and I missed chat last Friday.

We left Friday for camp in Martinsburg, WV then went to Norfolk for Sunday and then picked up my MIL in Durham, NC on Monday, We got home to MD that night about 11PM.
