am getting excited for everyone with vacation plans!!!! ..someone mention living vicariously through those with vacations coming up - that's what I will do for now...thanks everyone for the pictures and the reports!!!! Jealous of those getting together to meet...

I totally agree!! I'm jealous, but I am perfectly willing to live vicariously through all of the vacationing folks!!

We want reports!! We want details!! We NEED to know that there ARE people in the world who are having fun on the beach without a care in the world!! So to Andy and all the others who are getting ready for vacation: WE WANT TRIP REPORTS!!!!

And thanks to the ones who are recently back from trips and all of the wonderful reports and pictures!!

I have all of the boxes for the kid's toys & our dishes etc up in the attic.

My little grandson is very small for his age.Bottom 10% and up til a few months ago used to sit in a carseat. But everytime I picked the kids up at school he was so embarrased he would refuse to sit down and plead with me to DRIVE!.

That is what the parents started telling me when DS was in Kindergarten. Good grief! Thank goodness he didn't try that one with me because he had a high back booster until first grade. Don't even get me started on the number of kids I see riding in the front passenger seat who are DS's age/size or smaller. Who is the parent anyway?

I have to agree with you Paula. I didn't keep anything from the baby stage. As soon as DD got out of the crib at 18 months it sold at the yard sale! I have their coming home outfits & the set that I made for them as babies (blanket, sweater, bonnet, booties). I kept the nursery set because I made it and planned to convert into two quilts for the kids to get when they graduate high school. I have a bag of 3-6 month clothes from DD because the 22" doll I bought her will fit those. She will get that in a couple years. I tossed a lot of my things before the kids were born. I figured that they would need the room more than my old HS papers.

Shower curtain? You see, us lazy people "iron" by hanging things in the bathroom and taking a hot shower. Trust me, that one will all work itself out.
How often do you wash a showercurtain??? I throw the plastic liner thing away & hang a new one every few months, but the cloth part...I wash them when we move. Am I gross?

Jeans? Wow. Just wow.

I hate putting on a clean pair of jeans that looks like I have worn them a few days already. Pet peeve is all.

As far as washing a shower curtain....if I didn't have a bathroom bat that peed all over the bottom corner near the toilet...I wouldn't have to wash it at all.

just my observation, but its exciting to hear how enthusiastic your
lil' miss "st" teenie...is toward her job/. , it has always
been alot of fun watching jordan "adpoted" one of her new friends
...once, i took pics as she went thru the whole process.

..if clothes makes the man or woman...than what does one property
makes?....one can be defined by the treasures gathering dust...,
kansas had a hit song, "dust in the wind". * i think it is interesting,
that we have a "hugh" walk-in closet....my wife claims 99%, leaving
me with the 1%...much like the bed. , and then, i find
some of her clothing "sneaking" in on my 1% side. accidentally, of
course...

sooooo, pbager, just because you can walk around in your basment,
dosen't provide ..all the picture?...what's in your closets?

Very much so! We had absolutely PERFECT weather! I think the best weather we've ever had in a park, not too hot, not at all chilly. The crowds weren't bad at all (until Sunday, but we left that day) and Todd and Melissa are two of the nicest, most fun people you'd want to meet.
The lines especially didn't seem long, when we were yapping away!

We got lucky and got the exact room layout that I had hoped we would get. One bedroom, two bath suite, with three balconies! We had a view in every direction!

We're soooo excited. I just love packing and anticipating the trip. We're driving down on Monday April 2nd and will be in Florida till April 13th. We're staying at The Old Key West Resort. Hope to meet up with a few people from the DIS board.

Well, this is interesting...and good! San Francisco has passed a law that bans grocery stores from using plastic bags. (I know I am guilty of choosing plastic over paper , but I have actually been considering buying a few of those heavy-duty canvas tote bags and just bringing them with me when I shop...)

Hopefully it will inspire more cities to do the same!

I ironed for about 2 hours this past weekend. Mainly because I wasn't fast enough to pull things our of the dryer when it buzzed.
