Be prepared, you are the only one still DISing this week, the rest may be nuts with DIS withdrawal and needing a fix from you....:rotfl2:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: We might have to put the others in a rubber room.....:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I am sure that everyone who is on vacation this week will have to go thru the 12 steps of DIS withdrawel upon return. They will have alot of help from us who were left behind this week.

Morning everyone :goodvibes

Hope everyone has a great day. Forecast says rain this pm.Hope they're wrong. I do think they were right getting rid of Gina. She really went down the last few weeks. I thought Phil was starting to grow back his hair when he was with Tony but NO! he shaved it off again. Please either get rid of him or put a hat back on his head. He really really doesn't look good bald! Do these people not have mirrors

Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow nite. Please let us know if we need to bring anything!

From what I can gather, just come expecting to have a good time. We might be ordering some pizza's however.

This should be a fun way to end our vacation, looking forward to Friday evening!!! :thumbsup2

Angelina called work yesterday to get her hours for next week. Since I don't have to be back to work until Tuesday, I was hoping to be able to stay down here an extra day, but "ST" is on the schedule for Monday evening, so we will be leaving here early Saturday for the drive home. :sad1:

This week has been going by way too fast.....................

Searching the web found 2006 Theme park attendance figures, looks good for Disney.

Andrew - you are so informative! Thanks for information. I guess we don't have to worry about DISNEY!

The top eight all Disney and the top five are all the ''main Disneyland/MK'' style parks shows whereever you put it its popular, Japan seems to be going well, and Disneyland Paris picking up, should do better in 2007, its 15th bithday, and many new rides this year and a new parade.

Good old Blackpool shows us Brits can put on a park, but Disney dominates, knocks Uinversal, for six.

Shows the power of new rides with AK going up. and EE was open 2/3 of the year.

I wonder if alot of people who are going on the Med cruise will be making a stop to DL Paris. That will sure bring up the attendance.

I must admit that out of all the parks AK is my least favorite. I have gone there to go on EE and the safari. Sometimes I skip this park altogether and spend more time at the others.

DLP will get a bit from that but with only say about 10 cruises ( 4x10 4x11 and two repos) even if 50% went to DLP that might as a total max add 10,000.

Noticable is how poor Disney's Californian adventure is, in this league, considering its just over from DL C and people could walk in if they wanted to.

Looks like over 2/3 of people visting Disneyland C avoid its sister park.

Good morning all! We are waiting for our ride to arrive for the day trip to the aquarium. DD has been saying her finger still hurts....DS slammed the door on it yesterday afternoon. :( It made a dent on each side but she could squeeze my finger with it...so I figured just bruises for a few days. This morning when I looked at it, the bottom of her finger is very swollen...not discolored with bruising or anything but definitely swollen. :(

Last year Stephen my DS slamed a car door shut on his thumb, it bruised up, and was so painful i took him to our A&E Hospitial and he saw a doctor.

They x-rayed it wasnt brokern, but then drilled two small holes in the nail to take the pressure out and the blood that had been caught behind.

He actually fainted at this point, low blood pressure, the stress of it, but after an hour was released home.

He lost the nail about a week later, and a new one has now grown back.

I thought DCA was supposed to be really great. I wonder why it isn't drawing the crowds as you said, it is right across from DL.

I have to say on my last visit in 2005, I did Soarin twice Grizzly river run twice in a row, and finished the park in half a day.

Apart from the above I liked the Aladin show, and the two parades, but there isnt a lot there really, even the small Walt Disney studios park at Paris has more in it than DCA.

iPod from a vending machine? Ok...... How many quarters is that?

Hang in there M. :grouphug:

There are worse airports to be stuck in. Try San Juan PR for 8 hours. It's an absolute tropical H*ll Hole.

OMG! I totally agree with you. San Juan is the worst - we were stuck there for the better part of a day after a cruise due to Hurricane Hortense (had planned a late flight and an excursion that got cancelled). All three cruise lines dumped all their passengers at the same time - three hours in line with all our baggage (some kind of heightened security at the time) - no good food, just junk. Hope to never repeat that experience.

Well my MRI results are in and the diagnosis' is Cervical Spinal Stenosis.
I am going to pick up my PT order later today and get a 'cript for an anti inflammatory.

Anyone have any experience with this? PT recommendations?

gonna ketchup and see what is going on..

I appreciate the info. On our trip next year I am planning on getting to CA on the 13th. I thought I would need at least one day in each park seeing that it is my first time out there.

At the moment I plan four nights in a Disneyland hotel, three days in parks two in DL and one in DCA, but keep thinking to cut that and go for a trip to San Deago Zoo or Legoland or Seaworld instead.

Presume some people have limited days at Disney, if going to WDW for three days you must cut a park, or some people want to show their kids one park, thats usually MK, and 'thats Disney' and spend more time at villas etc.

But DCA is interesting if people go thre for 2-3 days they at 'avoiding' it for some reason, 14 million visit across the pavement (sidewalk). only 5.9 make it to DCA, it cant appeal.

I bet it had more visits when it was DL's car park!

Thought, add up the Disney parks turnover and times by average park ticket price!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
