Will I need any of my US Disney gear?

We are planning our first Tokyo DL/TDS trip and I’m wondering if I will need/should take any of our Disney gear from our WDW and DL trips. I’m thinking Magic Bands, trading pins, ??? I’m guessing we probably don’t need to lug that stuff but I wanted to check because I feel woefully unprepared compared to our usual Disney trips.

Your MagicBand is useless in Japan. Disney parks in Japan do not use those.

No to pins and magic bands. Ears, plushies, and plush keychains are all popular.

Do get the Tokyo Disney app, since that's how you'll book all your premier access and other ride/show passes.
