Just finished watching "The Real Pirates of the Caribbean" from Netflix. It was pretty interesting. Talked about the real history of pirates vs. what you see in the movies, then went on to talk about modern day pirates vs. terrorists.

Not much difference between modern day pirates and terrorists, is there.

I've seen that show before on History Channel and really enjoyed it.

When were you married? DH and I will also celebrate our 16th anniversary in June...June 20. And, I will also turn 40 this year. (DH, on the other hand, hit that milestone 5 years ago!)

Congrats on the milestones! There are a lot of us hitting the big 4 0 this year (I do on Monday), my DH also hit his 5 years ago and we're celebrating our 16th anniversary in Oct.

Actually, you do not have to believe this if you do not want, but I'm tellin' the truth -- on my old phone, that was the distinctive ring tone that I had set for the bishop!

And how did people react when they heard your phone ring like that . . . and then heard you talk to the bishop????!!!

Rob and I reached that mark this year. We met and started dating in Jan 1988, so this past Jan, we celebrated 20 years together. We will both turn 40 this year, so we have officially been together more than half our lives.

Same here... Not sure yet what we're doing. Neither of us are the dressing up type... I can name the 5 times over the last 3 years that we have dressed up and each was for a wedding (including our own ) or funeral.

As long as he carries his own suitcase with my stuff in it as well.. my Dh is welcome to all the clothes he wants..lol

I bought those space bags today that you roll instead of vacumn. you think our room steward would get us a vacumn the night before we leave..lol...I can see it now..I vacumn the bags at home and on the ship I have no room for anything...since my bag wont collapse

See the problem we have with the space bags is that we are always pushing the 50lb mark on our suitcases without those bags....

Mike, this is just one of many times that I find myself hoping your bishop doesn't Dis . . .

I'm incredibly safe there. His attitude toward technology is Stone Age at best. He has been quoted, quite proud of himself, as saying about computers: "I don't even know how to turn one on."

Whenever anyone emails him, his secretary is the one to get the email. She prints it out and puts it on his desk. He dictates any necessary response and she returns the email.

So it is without fear or trepidation that I post on the DIS. I'll only be unsafe if you email his secretary and I'm not going to give you either of their email addresses.
