Actually ran into DISer Seaulater on the dock yesterday and said because of cold weather it was transferred inside and no one went.



Hey it was a balmy 60F yesterday and no fog.

So here are a few of your pictures from yesterdays sail away. There was no hoopla this year and we ran into only about 10 DISers watching her depart. All aboard was 4pm and the Magic pulled away promptly at 4:15. It was still fun to see her again.

Oh that is so true.. after 2 weeks of eating and eating and drinking.. roll me off the ship... but wait there could be a plus to that.. If i am too fat to fit throught the door off the ship, I get to stay and go on the 5 day cruise.. what a thought!!!

I don't think we should totally write off Ports O'Call restaurant. I was thinking that we could make reservations in smaller groups of 10-12 about the same time and just swap tables every 30 mins. Coral at this point I am not sure how many people we really have going to dinner. I guess we should start a sign-up over on the planning board. From there we can make a discussion.

Desiree, there is a large group of people staying at the Double Tree and other hotels in San Pedro area on the 16th. We are trying to organize a get together and dinner locally in San Pedro the night before. There is a much larger group staying around DL.

KSDisneyDad is my husband and since this is all he talks about, well, I thought I would join in. It's like the Disboards are my competition! I have been busy putting our house together. Twenty-three gallons of paint so far! Four rooms, three bathrooms and a laundry room to go. I will be spending my entire summer finishing the house and getting ready for the big trip. I am looking forward to spending some time getting to know people. It feels strange to be the one that doesn't know people because Christopher is the quiet one and I am the talker! I will try to get a better picture of us posted soon.

Disney does tend to bring everyone out of the quiet mode!!!

Why are one way tickets so expensive anyway? Sometimes it's cheaper to buy a round trip than a one way!



Wow that is a long time in that airport... You could eat at the Gardunios (local New Mexican cuisine with green and red chile hehe) just outside of the security check. We often do that if we happen to get there too early. I think there's also a sports bar inside the security check but we haven't eaten there.

Mmm, that sounds good! I think we'll have to check it out!

DD14 has a question on the Princesses and Pirates Night. Is it just adults dressing up or can she dress up too?

I have about three weeks at home before I head back up North to help DD move. She found a great apartment in Middletown CT. I'll only be home for about three weeks before the trip. That should be interesting, packing for the TOAL with the help of my grandchildren. Who knows what will make it into our suitcases. Thought I'd check in and see how everyone is doing.

We are staying at the Doubletree and the three of us would love to join in the San Pedro dinner.

We have no restaurant yet but maybe we could all just buy Mickey D'S and party some where!!! Let Roger know or go to the pirate zone and say you would like to join us.
