I have just joined this group and have already added my name to Cartegena excursion list. Is this all I need to do to get in on the mr. emerald excursion?

Yes, for now that is all that is needed. We are really just signing up to show we are interested. Once Paula gets the specifics on the various tours, then we can make our final decisions.

Oh yeah, and our school board just randomly decided to end the school year 2 days early! What???? Ummm, day camp doesn't start until after the original end date of school. I am livid & needed to spend some time expressing my thoughts to the school board. School was supposed to end June 17, they apparently voted on May 22 to end school on June 13. What??? Oh and this info didn't make it to the district web site until This Tuesday.

That's weird...aren't they mandated by the state to go to school a certain number of days, or are they private?

Thankfully, my nextdoor neighbor has agreed to take him for the day She is great and DS will have a blast playing with her kids all day - but I don't know what other parents do to handle this insanity.

OK, that IS nuts!!! I can't believe that much waste would be allowed. That is one of the arguments around here with the 1/2 days even. Gas for buses (and around here, everyone gets bussed), opening the buildings, lights and such, just so they can go to school to watch a movie. Then again, that's about all they do the last week of school anyway

More than a couple if you can find a two for one deal On the 11 night Southern cruise we looked for every 2 for 1 deal. Skipped dinner one night just to get the 2 for 1 martinis in the Cadillac Lounge

3 oz. Light Rum (Suggestion - Malibu or Parrot Bay)
3 oz. Dark Rum (Suggestion - Cruzan Black Strap)
4 oz. Orange Juice
8 oz. Cream of Coconut (Suggestion - Coco Casa)
6 oz. Passion Fruit Juice Concentrate (Suggestion - Welches)
3 oz. Ice

Mix in blender until slushy.

Don't have a better half, I'm 100% best all by m'self. lol But my mom's better half, that being my dad, is wearing his CG Aux dinner dress uniform. No way we'd get him into a tux, but the uniform he'll do.

i am interested in having some with you.. I was looking forward to having them in KEY WEST... the ship ouldnt go there due to Hurricane Frances or Edger that yr. I was in Florida thsi January and FISHLIPS didnt make them..

Hello everyone, Wow this thread really moves fast. I was suppose to have surgery today but it needed to be cancelled due to a possible blood clot in the lower legs and a "cadiac incident". And of course the foot that was suppose to be operated on is now in so much pain. OOCH!!!..

Of course I had the necessary tests to r/o any problems. you think one of the doctors would call me to tell me I am ok?? NOOOOO!!!!..

Oh well, I really didnt want to have surgery before the cruise anyway.

Ok now on to business..I made a fish extender and I must say it looks great.. I will have topost a pic here soon!!i am so exctied about this cruise now!!

Question for all those in the know.. What exactly is "BALLROOM UNDER THE STARS" Will we all be outside for our dinners?? When Disney told me about it.. the CM told me to pull out all the punches.. gowns, gloves, tiaras tuxes for the men. but where will they put 3 dining rooms full of people??

Question #2 no matter what.. we have to pay to use a computer on the ship?? I was going to take a laptop to download pics and talk to my daughter who wont be going with us on the cruise(only to CAL). I have one that had wireless ethernet and one that has a card from Verizon.. We cant share a plan anymore with other familes since its not unlimited minutes..
