Hello everyone, Wow this thread really moves fast. I was suppose to have surgery today but it needed to be cancelled due to a possible blood clot in the lower legs and a "cadiac incident". And of course the foot that was suppose to be operated on is now in so much pain. OOCH!!!..

Of course I had the necessary tests to r/o any problems. you think one of the doctors would call me to tell me I am ok?? NOOOOO!!!!..

Oh well, I really didnt want to have surgery before the cruise anyway.

Ok now on to business..I made a fish extender and I must say it looks great.. I will have topost a pic here soon!!i am so exctied about this cruise now!!

Question for all those in the know.. What exactly is "BALLROOM UNDER THE STARS" Will we all be outside for our dinners?? When Disney told me about it.. the CM told me to pull out all the punches.. gowns, gloves, tiaras tuxes for the men. but where will they put 3 dining rooms full of people??

Question #2 no matter what.. we have to pay to use a computer on the ship?? I was going to take a laptop to download pics and talk to my daughter who wont be going with us on the cruise(only to CAL). I have one that had wireless ethernet and one that has a card from Verizon.. We cant share a plan anymore with other familes since its not unlimited minutes..

thanks for any answers..

Well sorry or congratulations on the whole surgery delay. Although it does sound like something you want to get taken care of.
Hang in There!!!

I think you are going to be making the rest of us look bad. :rotfl:
The dress is beautiful!

Just heard Harvery Korman from Carol Burnett show passed away today at age 81 in LAX.. Rest in peace...

I loved him!!:worried:

:woohoo: :woohoo: Thanks for the info. I just wish the second formal night was not so late into the cruise. I might be wearing a bed sheet if I can't get into one of my formals!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

This worries me too!

Awww, I loved him. I loved how he could never stop himself from laughing in the middle of a skit - remember the "Gone With The Wind" skit. I recently saw a biography special on Carol Burnett where she said that when she came down the stairs wearing the "curtains", the costume was kept secret from Harvey Korman. He couldn't keep it together...RIP

A classic!!! To this day my family says "I saw it in the window and just couldn't resist".:rotfl:

I'm seeing myself quoted for posts that I have not made.

Either I'm schizophrenic and don't know about it, or something is amiss with the quote function.

I think what happened was..when you went to quote me..it didn't work and then I quoted you and it looked like I quoted myself..and then somehow..my post..looked like your quote..got that? :headache:

Atleast it wasn't anything personal! :rotfl2:

How many of you ladies have talked your Better Halfs into wearing a "Monkey Suit"?

I didn't have to talk DH into it ..but he is wearing one on both formal nights. He bought one when we got married and wears it on all of our cruises...so Kevin won't be the only one!

Hello Folks,

I have information on 3 different tours from Mr. Emerald. I am still waiting on 2 others and then I will post them all at once. Sorry it has taken what seems like forever, but I have been working on it. :goodvibes

I have just joined this group and have already added my name to Cartegena excursion list. Is this all I need to do to get in on the mr. emerald excursion?

Dan owns a tux because of our choir concerts (renting twice per year every year would be crazy!) He always brings it on the cruise and will wear it for both formal nights (but probably not for semi-formal). Actually, this tux is getting near the end of its life (still looks OK, but some hidden bits are fraying and stuff like that) and he is actually considering throwing it out at the end of the trip to gain room in the luggage on the way home! :rotfl: I don't know if he'll really do it, but can you imaging the stateroom host surprise to find a tux in the little wastebasket? :lmao:

Ok..I started a "tween" thread..didn't really know what to call it since we hade a "kids" thread..so since it seemed like most of the requests were for the "tween" set..I called it:

DH dress shoes gave up on our last cruise...so he placed them by the trashcan when we left..since it wouldn't fit in the trash can..poor room steward tried to chase us down to return them! :rotfl:

My DH is wearing one for one of the formal nights and a dinner jacket for the other...;)

Speaking for my DW, I'll be in a tux for both formals and have a sport coat and tie for semi-formal/Palo.

Bill and my Dad are both bringing their tuxes.

Both DH and the ST will be wearing them (not that the ST really has a choice in the matter).

No ketchup - just random reading.
Busy week around here. Baseball, school poetry night, blah, blah, blah.

Oh yeah, and our school board just randomly decided to end the school year 2 days early! What???? Ummm, day camp doesn't start until after the original end date of school. I am livid & needed to spend some time expressing my thoughts to the school board. School was supposed to end June 17, they apparently voted on May 22 to end school on June 13. What??? Oh and this info didn't make it to the district web site until This Tuesday.

Rode my bike home from work again today. Yay me!

Just make sure you wear your tiara with that sheet and you'll look marvelous.

I'm pretty sure Diane's bringing her Bedazzler with her so we can have fancy bed sheets!

Debi - you'll be in a freekin' tiara. He needs a tux! :)
DH is wearing the uniform version of a tux and my boyfolk are wearing tuxes.
They'll all wear suits for semi-formal.

I am undecided on this. He would if I asked him to, but since he is buying a suit, probably 2 suit coats and dress slacks, his clothes budget is going to be over the top as it is.

It helps that I am wearing formal wear that I have colloected from previous cruises, that is if I keep the LB's off.
