As hubby pointed out, most priests tend to say the same thing three different ways in the same homily. It seems there is a presumption that the faithful won't pay attention for 2/3 of the homily. Not that I would do that, of course....

Enna, you do know that Mike (Mjy) is our resident priest right? Even doing Mass on board for those that choose to attend.

Sounds like your MIL and my mother are cut from the same cloth.

As for MIL, she KNEW that only the people listed were able to sign out the kids. She wanted to keep her options open in case she wanted to take all 3 grandkids for ice cream or something.

In the end, only Mr. Enna & I had permission to sign out the kids. DCL got an earful about non-guardian adults being able to specify other non-guardian adults on that form without the parents' knowlege or consent. When it comes right down to it, that's almost MORE scary than what MIL tried.

Plenty of other observers are joining us too AND the ziplining, non-scaredy cat Julie She zips before us

I miss the good ol' days of UNLIMITED accounts on DCL....

It may have been answered already.. but does anyone know if you can be an observer for any of the ZIP LINES?? and if so what would the cost of that be>>>

Booking privately and not DCL, they do have an observer option. I don't think DCL offers it.

If they don't have a city tour in the morning, I may just come to observe, too. Nothing else catches my eye that day. Might head over to WalMart though.

That was what they said. I pointed out that I never gave anyone permission to link the ressies in the first place. At that point, I discovered that MIL had arranged for SIL and Nephew's cabins to connect to ours so I could watch Nephew so single-mother SIL could have a break.

We un-linked our ressies.


Come to think of it, does linking ressies with other DISers allow them to access the account for things like kids' club registrations?

Laugh it up people - but I was not as burned as lobster man....er....my dh. Laugh all you want but you will see. At least the cloud cover - had some drops helped keep it a bit cool. Can you imagine what it will be like in August?

OMG! Its 7 and you have all kept me from dressing. Its semi-formal tonight must be getting ready. Gave up seeing A twist on Cindy to be here.

We knew a guy that had a rooster...the one from the cartoons, can't remember his name....on his thigh, down to the knee. He used to make a really nasty remark about it all the time.

Interesting....my Wish List on DCL has held steady for a few days now...the last time I rearranged it, I added things from this cruise, then deleted the old Med ones that kept showing up. In the past I would clean out the old ones before adding new ones. Maybe that's the trick? Add stuff before deleting stuff?

Wow , makes ya have second thoughts about linking ressies in general
In order to link they have to have your ressie number though, right
So as long as people don't have in laws like ours they should be safe
