I just read this in the mousesaver announcements- you might already know it but I didn't!


oh no.... how can this be? refurbishing this thru the summer months and for so long? My youngest DD just asked me LAST NIGHT if they have IASW and I told her ofcourse.

They closed it in January. I expect they won't open it until next christmas season. They are replacing the sluiceway and the boats, so it is a *major* re-do.

I read somewhere that the DCL Bus isn't picking up until 12 / 12:10 / 12:20 at the DL Hotel, Paradise, and Grand Californian.

The Pirate buses will be at the Port well before that.

Mine has the Liberty Bell that says forever on it. Just call the Post Office and ask!!

I'm wondering if an 11:40am flight out of MCO would be okay?

I can get a SW flight home for $115 but it's at 11:40. Plus side, I can check 2 bags.

The next best rate for a later flight is $180 but that's on Air Tran so add more for 2 extra bags.


OMG! As I'm planning out flights and airports I just realized that my plan of having one of my brothers pick us up won't work. The whole family will be out of town for the reunion that I will be missing. So now I have to factor in the cost of getting us home. Hmm....wonder what friends will be around and could possibly pick us up?

Roger, I remember the last time we watched, there was a link to email the camera guy and that is how they got so many closeups of the ship going thru the locks. I thought someone said the operator was a diser(?) . Oh I answered my own question. It is there on the bottom of the page.


If you wish to request a change in the Miraflores Locks camera's angle, please send an email to aep-osu@pancanal.com. Such requests will be honored as time and circumstances at the Miraflores Locks allow.

Currently, we are not accepting requests for angle changes of the cameras at Gatun Locks or Cerro Luisa.

So when should we start the email campaign???????

Ok..now I am being a pest to the lanyard company as much as I am to DCL!

I have confirmed that it takes approximately 4-5 weeks to recieve the lanyards..so that I don't stress about it and get plenty of time to order and recieve them - the deadline to order them from me is going to be next Friday the 23rd. I want to allow for if there is any errors that I can get a new batch in time. They have also informed me that the saying will go on twice if I have it under 60 characters so I chose:

I am so multitasking today. Took DS to the airport, tracking his progress to Cal. Took DD to the kennel we use to check it out for her 2 dogs as she is traveling to Chicago next week.Trying to clean up my mess here in the bedroom,scanning more slides, checking bills,need to check my wish list as many saaid they had a problem,reading all these trip reports.. I am ready for a nap.

My remodeling is going full steam at work. They got my new dispensers running in 4 days. They started jack hammering the back stockroom floor yesterday--which will be my new office.

They are also making progress on our rental

Adam's sr. prom is tomorrow night and I leave for Boston Saturday morning.
