Has anyone gotten response from DCL regarding the lockout of adding/deleting from wish list for excursions?
Their 'working' on it

Has anyone gotten response from DCL regarding the lockout of adding/deleting from wish list for excursions?
Me, neither! My TA even called DCL a few weeks ago to have them resent and I STILL can't get a planning packet . . . if I didn't see my reservation on the DCL site, I'd be worried they didn't know I was on the ship!![]()
Great minds get frustrated by Disney alike.
Um, I mean think alike.
LET'S GO CAPS!

No -- GO STARS!!!

Me either.
Still.
OH, I don't think so.......

Yes there are rumors about that in New York, the 'viewing' figures are high, -How is Frabrizo?
Hope they sort it out.
Whats a cruise with out JULIE?
Not a good cruise
Hertz just started a service called Simply Wheelz at MCO - price is dramatically less than their regular rentals (I'm paying about $100 for a week this week + about $40 for the GPS rental). Internet bookings only (Expedia and www.simplywheelz.com).
I know stuff.
Task Force Formation Alert
I started a thread on the pirate zone for anyone interested.
Last time we cruised, I made journals for the kids. For our WDW days, I used the ones from www.themouseforless.com, but I wasn't thrilled with their very general DCL pages, so I made my own. There was a double page spread for each day with a few activities (word search, solve a puzzle, find the answer to a question type of thing) related to where we were that day (look for 6-toed cats in Key West, learn a few Spanish words in Costa Maya, etc.). On sea days, I had some on-board things to do (how many steps is our room from the kids club, go down the Mickey slide at least 5x, how fast is the ship going right now). I'll see if Tom can post an example on the pirate zone.
Creating the pages required a little bit of kid-level research about each of the ports and and some creative brain time making up activities. So here is my thought on a task force - if we have enough interested parents, each persons could volunteer to 'research' a port and come up with a few kid-level facts, questions, activities & we would need a few volunteers to think of sea day activities (I have 2 sea day pages already). I would be happy to create the page layouts post .pdfs for people to download and print pre-cruise.
Any takers?
If so, post here

Hey Pete ,
Good to see you back , glad you had a great time , we are about 10 days away from our trip to OKW at WDW were excited about OKW . The day we come back (the 10th) the Magic starts its journey west.
Wore him out?Fabrizio failed to live up to his fabulous name . . .![]()
Hopefully you won't have to find out, this time at least . . .
It's not even that the planning packet/letter is all that great -- it's just knowing that I haven't gotten it!
I decided since we were having the mayor at our office for a meeting today I would wear the new shoes I bought for the TOAL. Need to break them in before the cruise right? Bad idea.I was running around all morning setting things up and my feet are killing me. So I decided to take them off. Another bad idea. Now I can't get them back on.
Can you tell I don't wear heels often (even if they are only 1 1/2"). So I guess I will be walking barefoot to the parking garage this evening...with a bag of leftover food from the luncheon. I am afraid I am going to look like a homeless person. These shoes are most certainly for formal/semi-formal night dinner only.
AH.... But is it stuff worth knowing??![]()
Hockeytown! Go Wings!!!
"The Disneyland Hotel is about to undergo a massive refurbishment to its aging towers that will take several years to complete. After the recent success of the specially themed extra-cost suites, more will be on the way once the Disneyland Hotel is finished with its refurbishment. Each tower will basically be stripped down to the skeleton and rebuilt from the inside out one by one. The grounds, restaurants, shops and amenities will also all be gutted and rebuilt at the same time."
Another site said the hotel would be torn down completely because the 50 year-old infrastructure needed to go. I am having a really hard time paying how much we are per night to stay at a property that is so outdated it needs to be gutted or razed not long after we stay (or during.)
I preach The Walking Company. They are on the web also and all of their shoes are built for comfort- even the heels!![]()
