I don't understand what you mean by "DCL runs the bus every 30 min back to port"? Help! I am starting to get a little worried about the booking and missing the good things!

I think that they have several excursions during the day that you can stay and linger before returning. I actually think there are several different ones going on at the center. Just have to make sure you get on the last bus heading back.

When you read the description of the dolphin encounter excursion it basicallysays that since the excursion includes lunch and they want you to shop that you can return to the ship at your leisure since the motor coach will reun every 30 minutes........... Keep in mind that there are Dolpin excursions in 3 ports .......this was only on the one in PV.

Hi Gang,

Sunday we brought back 24 maps for each park. If anyone is still interested let me know & I'll send them.
We go to DL about every other week - as it gets closer let me know what else I can wander around and check out.

Just have to share this story from our local news. It brought tears to my eyes when I watched it on the news. Karen Campanale said she pretty much kissed her rings goodbye & she couldn't believe how Disney went above & beyond the call of duty to return them. One of the many reasons we love Disney so much! Sometimes they really get it right!


Disney workers recover rings mistakenly thrown away
ORLANDO, Fla. -- Walt Disney World seems to have worked its magic on a Massachusetts couple who accidentally threw away three platinum and diamond wedding rings.

While tidying up their villa as they prepared to leave the park late last week, Paul Campanale dumped a cardboard bowl, not knowing the container inside it held his wife Karen's engagement, wedding and five-year-anniversary rings.

Park employees warned the couple from Worcester, Mass., that recovering the jewelry was all but impossible. So on Friday, the Campanales and their two children loaded onto a Magical Express bus and headed to the airport.

Back at the Wilderness Lodge resort, executive housekeeper Drew Weaver realized that trash from the Campanales' villa hadn't reached the industrial-size compactor yet. He and seven other volunteers donned protective clothing, emptied a parking lot bin and waded through bag after bag of rubbish to find the rings. And they did.

Paul Campanale, 37, a chemist, received the good news on his cell phone and Weaver met the family to deliver the rings. Karen Campanale, 35, a teacher, said she was shocked by the find.

"That's not the first time we've gone through trash -- oh, no," Weaver said. "We don't always find things. Many times we come up empty. But we didn't this time."

This is worth inducing everyone with a spate of Dejavu...

I decided since we were having the mayor at our office for a meeting today I would wear the new shoes I bought for the TOAL. Need to break them in before the cruise right? Bad idea. I was running around all morning setting things up and my feet are killing me. So I decided to take them off. Another bad idea. Now I can't get them back on. Can you tell I don't wear heels often (even if they are only 1 1/2"). So I guess I will be walking barefoot to the parking garage this evening...with a bag of leftover food from the luncheon. I am afraid I am going to look like a homeless person. These shoes are most certainly for formal/semi-formal night dinner only.

These wouldn't happen to be the style of shoes you're talkin' about Terri?​

The wedding went without a hitch.. The weather was perfect low 80's .

The wedding looked beautiful!!!!! You and Camilo look great too!!

While you're at it - if you use your fireplace with real wood, be sure to bring in a chimney sweep every now and then. A chimney fire is just as dangerous.

Another reason not to fly United....the first to implement extra baggage fees, they charge for extra (i.e. normal) legroom in economy plus, and now if you want to change to earlier flight, another large fee. Just waiting for that bathroom usage fee. This, plus they always seem to be late or have "mechanical" problems here in Denver....

I have noe choice but United!!!! Their main hub is here!! I am giving myself an extra day to get to San Pedro just in case!!!

Ahem..........I would like to make a small announcement:

We are DEFINITELY LEAVING IN 16 DAYS!

DH GOT OUR PLANE TICKETS FINALLY!!!!

We leave on Delta on Wed, May 7th - now to figure out how the older two will NOT kill each other while we're gone.

Now start working on the important tickets for August!!!!

Has anyone gotten response from DCL regarding the lockout of adding/deleting from wish list for excursions?

Did I ever tell you I bought an expensive mist sprayer and it was on CC without me for 4 months. My spray bottle showed up without an further explanation just before Christmas!!

I wear ballarina slpippers for formal night!!! No one look at my feet on formal night!!

Found this exhibit at the Florida International Museum in St Petersberg til 5/11. Might interest those in the area that time. Lots of works of art from the Vatican. MIght be worth a trip.
