What category are you in? We have friends waiting for category 4 room assignments

We are in a 3 -- we did have a 4 until the 3 showed up available about a month or two ago.

I so feel your pain - not on Delta this time but flew them 4x in the last 2 years. Home for the holidays (2x), Orlando and to Barcelona. Every single time something happened. Barcelona they changed the schedule so many times after I purchased the tickets my online itinerary was about 4 pages long noting all the changes. Orlando I had a red-eye out of Oakland and they discontinued that flight - luckly I was able to get on one out of San Francisco. Back to PA for the holidays was the icing on the cake. Xmas 2006 I checked in online and by the time I got to the airport the flight was canceled, was the last flight out too (small regional airport) - needless to say work was not thrilled. Then this year (Xmas 2007) they cut down the flights in and out I was on a 6 pm return to SF on Xmas day and they got rid of that flight and were only offering a 6 am. (Background - I was only home for 3.5 days in the first place) After badgering them they finally put me on a Northwest flight back. I get to the airport and they had reinstiutued the 6 pm flight. I was furious. So best of luck..

:scared1: I sure hope there are no more changes but I know that would be too easy. I am expecting changes to our flight home again. The customer service rep that DH spoke to the 1st time said if they change your flight and its over 90 minutes they are supposed to give you the option to reschedule with no fees (if you call them). The rep that I spoke to said 60 minutes and she was very nice about switching our flights no questions asked except which flight did I want instead of the one they gave me.

Tom, a must post on Pirate Zone... Thank M's DH for Tall ships.

Should create a "things to remember in August" thread.....

Weren't we supposed to say something to someone else's husband? See forgot already:confused:

He spent summer of '90 on Eagle.

Gee and here i just spent it drinking.....and waiting to leave for college.

DAILY THOUGHT: SOME PEOPLE ARE LIKE SLINKIES - NOT REALLY GOOD FOR ANYTHING, BUT THEY BRING A SMILE TO YOUR FACE WHEN PUSHED DOWN THE STAIRS.

Hmm that's how i feel about my boss. (the one who left) He's only in a different department of course but came back today to do mid-year reviews for everyone. I believe one comment on mine was that i did crappy the first half of last year but then better the second half...and that now i seem to be doing worse... My answer to him was "Seasonal Affective Disorder". (At least i got a chuckle....:rolleyes1 )

I found 2 more sets of DL maps. If anyone is interested let me know.

oooh can i have one

Okay tomorrow I deal with my school principal about the TOAL. Our school starts back on Sept 2 so I will make our first day of school BUT teacher work week is the week prior and obviously I will not be there. Have a mtg at 1pm to discuss it with her - she is very old school, very abrupt and to the point so it should take all of 5 minutes in and out - either its fine or its not and I need to start looking for a new school to work at :scared1:

The only thing i may have going for me is I am trying to work summer school this year. Basically its a 4 week program that will give me some extra cash, its much easier than the normal school year - way less paperwork. Its 4 days a week 7:30 - 12:30. Schools are always desperate for summer school teachers so it may be my saving grace.

Say a prayer for me tonight y'all.

edit....just got your PM

anyone else?? 1 more up for grabs --------------- edited: sorry the maps are all gone. I'm sure I'll visit the parks again before TOAL and can get some more.

Is there anyone out there who thought about ins. but didn't get it?:rolleyes1 Is it to late and does anyone know if it will cost a fortune> TIA

I saw some others answered, but I'll throw in my two cents too. We just bought our insurance maybe a week or so ago. We used insuremytrip.com . It's nice because you put your info in one time, and it gets you quotes from a lot of companies that you can then compare. We ended up choosing Travelex Plus.

I am absolutely amazed at the skill of the plastic surgeon I went to.
I looked like a train wreck last week after the surgery. Now, it is just amazing! He took a pretty substantial hole in my nose and in a week and a half it looks almost normal. He hid all the stitches in the curve of my nose and you cannot see any marks. It still just a bit red. Wow! I think I am going to start saving for some more work that guy can do on me. ;)

Glad to hear it!!

I thought this might give everyone a little chuckle!!!!:goodvibes

There's going to be a lot of people wondering why I'm calling them "Slinky" tomorrow!

We're working with Cathy Ingle. I think she handles all of the DCL weddings and vow renewals.

Ours went to our TA. I know DCL has our address because we've received stuff from them before.
