Disneyland DIS meet in the days prior to the cruise
(Task Force Leader DisneyPilots – PM to participate)
Meet and greet fellow Pirates at Disneyland in the days leading up to the cruise. Have a chance to begin connecting names, faces and DIS id’s before we embark on our journey.

Charter bus/busses to pick up DISers from DL area hotels to take us to the port – PM SmeeCanada if interested
(Task Force Leaders - Grandma x3, Bellelinus, smeecanada)
This one is self-explanatory. Why worry about DCL transfers, taxis, limos, etc. We are looking to have a few stops at the Ho-Jo’s and Disneyland hotels to carry interested Pirates to the port. A brief stop at a grocery/liquor store is also being considered.

Room Tour – Sea Day Activity
(Task Force Leader A Litle Pixie Dust – PM to participate)
Ever wonder how the other ½ lives? Take a tour of Category 12 up through Category ?? cabins to see what they look like. Volunteers needed to organize and to host with their cabins.

Secret Mickey – Throughout the Cruise – PM eeyorelvr10 to participate(Task Force Leaders pbader and eeyorelvr10)
Couples, individuals and children can participate in a “Secret Mickey” gift exchange over the course of the trip. Each participant will give and get several small gifts (about 5 gifts, total $25-30). Near the end of the trip (last sea day), there will be a get together for all the Secret Mickey’s to reveal their identities.

I will try to post a few each day. There is also some info on each of these on the Pirate boards

Ok pirates. I need some vacation ideas. I've got a timeshare week that expires soon and I'm trying to figure out where to use it. My 'home' resort is in Texas but I've never seen it. I bought the ownership off ebay and have banked and traded my weeks ever since.

I'm looking at the middle of June. DS has 1 week in between regular school and summer school. I haven't been succesful finding anything in CA or Hawaii. So I'm trying to figure out somewhere else to go to spend a week. Don't want to go to FL because going to WDW would be too expensive. Besides airfare to FL has been outrageous lately.

So where would you enjoy a relaxing week at?

I'm not sure we will know before we board. At least I didn't know last time. Besides the way they do it now, it's really not worth it. Granted I never did the old way. But I was underwhelmed with the character breakfast we had on the Med. There is very little character interaction. They don't come to you table. They only do a couple of dances in the middle of the room with the little kids. And a parade around the room. I'd skip it this time, except DS will probably want to go.

Well, maybe instead of the character breakfast we can have a speedo breakfast... mid-cruise... lots of kids rolling on the floor wailing... parents with their stern looks saying I told you if you didn't mind your manners there'd be heck to pay...
