Where can I find that poster A Little Pixie Dust ? Is everyone booking separately but directly with the zip line tour company? If so is there any specific time being chosen?

If you want to zip in Cabo, I can add you to the list I started to see what the gruop rate will be.:)

Hope everyone gets the shore excursions they desire......... I'm just as excited by the sea days............lying by the pool............making sure I dont get de-hydrated............exaimining the insides of my eyelids........... :goodvibes

See what happens when you go awol for a months (beside the ENTIRE list being deleted), you forget who is who in rank . . .Sir, my expressed apologies . . it won't happen again . . .;)

Theresa, we missed you around here:goodvibes

Wow, guys, what wonderful magnet designs! I'm so impressed!!! I just ordered photoshop 6 , so maybe you guys can help me with the designs.

Someone mentioned there were problems with horses in Mexico. I was looking into taking my sister on a tour while in Cabo, possibly through Johann and Sandra's site http://www.cabosanlucastours.net/Horseback-Riding.htm. Does anyone know if that is not reputable? I know that they just started running the tours again, so one of the stables had been closed for a while.

We were also thinking about using Mr. Emerald in Cartegena as I read very positive things on CC.

i am working with Mr. Emerald to get a tour up. I am having him to one that includes Baru and the Walled City and another just for the city. Chris is collecting names if you would like to add yours.:goodvibes

Time to go back to work, keep it to a dull roar so I don't have 30 pages to review later:lmao: :lmao:

Paula,

I sent my request to the PV company. Still waiting to hear back. I should be able to let you know in a few days if I'm booked with them or if they we're full.

The tandem zip looks cool.

I thought so too! Especially for the ones that are a little chicken (like me):)

Here's the tiara I just won on Ebay ($20.07)

t167c.jpg

Very pretty Debi:goodvibes

I liked the cancellation policy and that you can do tandem upto 4 people. However, it doesn't look to have much shade, if any. Just an open canyon.

Ah.....who needs shade:goodvibes

ok..pbger, i told my lil'miss about the deep sea...fishing, so she'll ask
the boys if they interested. [ we have no offical schedules...nor any
specfic plans..for excursions..& she has always done all our planning
..so in the near future , we are going to have a family meeting. ]

Well, if more than 1 decide to join we'll have to start on boat #2. But it is easliy arranged.:goodvibes

I am going to add links/info to my post on first page such as the prior Cabo post, summaries of the plans to date and links to website, etc.

I would suggest we all refer anyone looking for info to that post and the website.

Tom , It would be nice if you could get Crash to post all that information in the first post ....Just would make it easier for anyone that is new that comes to the thread ..

You sound like me when it comes to wine. I'm not a big wine drinker, but when I find you I really like then I'm hooked. I like to try them all, but DW usually ends up finishing most of mine. I do find the info that they tell you to be pretty interesting, so we're definitely looking forward to the wine tasting. Anybody remember the cost of the different tastings?

Somehow I do remember the tequila tasting was $20 a person. Thought that was reasonable compared to some of the drinks on the ship.:thumbsup2

Here's the tiara I just won on Ebay ($20.07)

Very regal Debi!! :flower3: You better stop shopping on E-bay before you spend all your money for the TOAL.;)

OK Debi - if you all don't stop sharing pictures of your tiaras - I'm going to have an even harder time telling DD she can't go - she's very envious of the tiaras even though she got some awesome ones on her last birthday. For some reason - she got 2 last year and 3 this year so I will be borrowing hers. Do you think everyone is telling her something? She goes around saying - if the crown fits!

Are you still trying to convince DD she is not going???:rotfl2: Just for your info we have 8:00 pm. dining!!:cool1: We were booked for 8:15 from Pamela. Hope that is okay.

oh, i'm sorry ms. micmse...fog-ot, how you  the old man..."winter"

the lear jet?

by the way, are you wearing purple this cruise?

i saw on the screen...gotta love modern tech. , it's like getting a new
pair of glasses.

I am still hibernating this winter.:rolleyes1 Today will hit 50 degrees and by tonight 0 degrees with a winchill of -25 below zero. :headache: That is a major swing in temperature. Now do you understand why we have to move.

Is the sky blue???:confused3 Of course I will be wearing purple on the cruise!!!:rotfl:

Get those pictures posted of WDW at Chrismas!!:goodvibes I can't wait to see them!!!!!!!!!:woohoo:

Hey Cheryl - you saved me a bunch of money today :rotfl: Got out of JCP with only 3 bags. But DS is happy since most of it was for him.

Glad I could help Monica!!!:lmao: I have no problem helping spend other peeps money too!!!:lmao: I hope the new goodies cheered:cheer2: up trevoy!!!:goodvibes

Good morning, pirates!

On another site, I found a link to this Wikipedia map of Cabo -- it is pretty clear once you move around it where the cruise ships dock to tender in, and you can click on anything that is boxed in to see the name and more detail -- you can see Medano Beach, Cabo Wabo, etc.

http://www.wikimapia.org/#lat=22.88266&lon=-109.914833&z=17&l=0&m=a&v=2

That was great Julie!! :woohoo: So is Cabo Wabo with in walking distance from the dock???:confused3

On the website are links for

I guess I should start hanging out at the web site more.:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I just took a looked at first page now!!! I am very impressed.:worship:  :worship:  :worship: :worship: :worship:

I noticed we are still missing lots of peeps although I know some have cancelled.:rolleyes1 ;) I might be a good idea to mention the fact in the newsletter we had to start a new thread!!! Yes...I will e-mail this suggestion to you Tom!!!

Pretty cool Julie:goodvibes It doesn't look like Cabo Wabo is too far of a walk.

Cabo Wabo is up there where most of the better shopping is....in other words, there are a few booths right at the pier area but that's all.
It isn't a bad walk to go UP there, but it is a much longer walk back....or it seems to be, anyway. We took a taxi back as we were running out of time and worried about missing the tender.
In other words, it's further than it looks.

Also, to get to Medano Beach, you have to use a "water taxi"....which was literally a rowboat with a small motor. Getting down into it from the dock was a real trip. (yes, I tripped:guilty: )

We fly Air Tran all the time. Have been able to get good prices for flights. They do tend to make flight changes. On our December trip to WDW the flight time was changed 4 times in 6 months. Usually it was only a few minutes, but the last time they moved the return time up 2 hours.

Thanks- I will keep an eye out for that. They said they would email me if the times were changed.

I am still hibernating this winter.:rolleyes1 Today will hit 50 degrees and by tonight 0 degrees with a winchill of -25 below zero. :headache: That is a major swing in temperature. Now do you understand why we have to move.

That was great Julie!! :woohoo: So is Cabo Wabo with in walking distance from the dock???:confused3

I had to go to the office this morning. I went outside and it was 70 degrees at 6:00 am!!! That is soooo wrong.

Shouldn't that be crawling distance? :lmao:

Somehow I do remember the tequila tasting was $20 a person. Thought that was reasonable compared to some of the drinks on the ship.:thumbsup2

And I seem to recall the beer tasting was $12 when my dh did it.

My dh and ds are interested in doing the outdoor adventure in PV, which is a DCL excursion. This was appealing to them because it also includes rappelling down or beside a waterfall, and the description says it is the "highest and longest zip line in all of Mexico".

My question......does anyone know what company this is with? Do you think DCL would tell me this info if I called? I would like to do some research on it before we book it. TIA!
