Where can I find that poster A Little Pixie Dust ? Is everyone booking separately but directly with the zip line tour company? If so is there any specific time being chosen?

I just booked mine and Kevin's,with the tour company directly. Got conformation back for: Aug.20,2008 at 1pm. Mention that your with the group from Disney Cruiseline. It will ask where you want to be piced up at, we said the the Tour Office. Plan on getting a cab(like $4.00 ea) to the office and back.

I think you just PM to the exact Dis ID -- pretty sure it was

A Litle Pixie Dust (spelled that way)

who offered several pages back. That's how I sent the PM to them anyway, according to my sent PMs . . .

I think most people were booking the 1 PM Los Veranos zipline . . . my crew are on the 11 AM one, but it filled up.

Hi everyone...

Hope everyone survived Monday!

I will start working on a luggage/bag/lanyard/multi purpose tag ...when done I will let you know and ask who wants one etc!

The concert was amazing....It was John Taylor and Simon LeBon and their guitars...They sang Falling Down,Save a Prayer,Box Full O'Honey and Ordinary World....I asked them a question and they were pretty impressed with it...They were so nice as well....

Hope everyone gets the shore excursions they desire......... I'm just as excited by the sea days............lying by the pool............making sure I dont get de-hydrated............exaimining the insides of my eyelids........... :goodvibes

Well Cheryl just called me from the mall, she said she is saving me all kinds of money:scared1: that is always a scary thought.
I noticed she had #1100 post, she thinks that should count towards a pirate: maybe at least a half.

John

So can I have a half of pirate: :lmao: :lmao:

Shhh!
'Ello Smee from Canada - Cheryl and I and the new super legion of Bargain hunters can help in that department! :rotfl2:

I like the idea of Legion of Bargain Hunters!!!:cool1: :cool1: :lmao:

Yes our puppy arrived Saturday afternoon. I will have to post a photo when I get home tonight. His name is Raleigh.

I love puppies!!!:cloud9: :cloud9:

I'm very excited. Our passports (mug shots) came today. It only took about 2 weeks. Just waiting for Southwest to open bookings for the return flight home.

Penny

It took us 14 weeks last spring.

Ya gonna be cooking books????

We have the 2nd biggest library in the state next to Chicago. Our library hires chefs to teach us to cook at least once a month. Tonight is soup  but next month is crepes!!!:yay: We get to sample so much that you dare not eat before you go!!!:woohoo:

Dont forget we're having tequila tasting at Cabo Wabo ...

pirate:

Now what is Cabo Wabo again:confused3 :confused3 Just kidding Todd!!:thumbsup2

Doesn't matter if you book on line or TA or go to the airport to book, the airline will change the flight 10 times between now and then anyway.

My ticket last year changed a total of 7 times in 4 months just to Orlando.:scared: So far I have had my tickets for 4 months with no changes.:yay:

Hear Hear - I second that emotion. And Tom? Don't get between a woman and her shopping. Dh tried that and almost died when I turned around and got between his poker tournaments and him. Now we worked out this fantastic deal - he can go play poker as long as he wins and gives me $$ for shopping. After all - I am a great bargain shopper. :rotfl2: And I've made my oldest DD an even greater one - that girl made $2000 last throughout the TOAL this past summer (Med cruise) and 6 1/2 months of only going to school. Can you imagine pretty soon there will be a new species of homosapien superwomen who have a big sniffer to better aid them in their quest for survival - a mean bargain! :rotfl2: :lmao:

...[edited]...

Hi Dia - I would love to be but I have a sneaky suspicion that Crash has me beat in that department hands down - right Tom(Crash)? :rotfl:
...[edited]...

Laura...

... I know EXACTLY what you mean when you declare that a wise man knows when to let his spouse go on a shopping spree ... which is pretty much daily at my home.

Alicia too is a cost effective shopper. She ferrets out the best deals ... and I occassionally remind her that the BEST DEAL she ever got was in grabbing me! To which she'll quip "I" was the one thing she over paid on.

Aside from that - I have a ....

HOT DEAL ALERT

... for SoCal Neighbors who Snow Ski...

Good until TOMORROW is a deal where if you go to your local Ralphs' Supermarket - buy 8 bottles of Glace' Vitamin Water with your Ralphs' Club card entered - and you will pay $8.40 - get the water for the sale price - and receive amid week full day Lift Ticket for Snow Valley worth $42! Kids age 6 and under ski free! You gotta buy it before tomorow is gone - and the lift ticket is good until the end of this season or April 30th. Which ever comes first.

ALSO.... If you go to your local JEEP dealer and do a test drive ... they will give you 2 mid week All Day Lift Tickets good for Bear Mountian Resort. You have until March 4th to obtain this deal... while supplies last at your local Jeep Dealer. SO if you want this one - ya better go sooner then later!

I've gone and loaded up on 32 botles of vitamin water in various flavors - paid $33.60 including the CA recycling fee and now hold 32 bottles of a nominally nutritious drink + $168 in Lift Tickets! Just this past Sunday Costco was selling the same Glace beverage for $17.99 on a 20 bottle flat... minus $3.50 on a coupon that expired Sunday brings the promo price there to $0.72 abottle. Otherwise the regular rice at Costco is $0.90... however you cannot cherry pick your flavors. So I consider the $1 a bottle price to be good!.. plus you get the lift ticket!

And finally Laura, on the photography thing - I would be happy to contribute to a public pool of photos which might include some of YOURS'. Tom31 and I are reviewing various sites for the best suitability in hosting a community site. And to TOM31....forgive my slowness in completing my tasks ... I've a number of things to juggle here.... yet I've found time to toss on a few postings here. GO figure?

Just don't get the outside of those lids too sunburn!!!:flower3:

How curious....

At any rate, I need not remind you of my fixation with patronizing Costco as much as possible? They have an amazing no hassel refund policy that extends out to 90 days for most electronics - like digicams. Just don't abuse it as in dropping it into bucket of water and you can get every cent spent back. THIS is the most extreme way of evaluating a digicam.

So... the choice is yours' now... Best Buy/Circuit City with an in-store evaluation for perhaps 5-10 minutes ... or the 89 day test drive from Costco? Choose your poison please... < wink >

I'm on board with you, Captain . . . we live about 10 minutes from our Costco and I tend to go there instead of the grocery store, too . . . .LOL

The scary thing to do is to send DH in there . . . it's even worse if he happens to be hungry . . LOL . . .I try to remind him that he is buying IN BULK . . .:laughing::laughing:

Glad to be back and reading everyone's cool posts. . .

Mark -
I LOVED the sea days on the repo. Deck 4 - a good book (if my eyes stayed open!) - heaven!

Hi everyone! I created both a dated and plain-vanilla version of the DIS member on board (for those who don't rmember them, this is a take-off on the "baby on board" things people used to put in their car windows).

Plain-Vanilla version:

I'll ask Tom to post these at the website also.

If anyone has any suggestions for general door magnets, let me know. I enjoy doing this type of design stuff (no formal background, just years of playing with Paint Shop Pro!) and could make others that could be used by any of us.

Pamela

Thanks, Pamela. I'll have to see if I still have our magnet from the last time we cruised together. I'll just cross out the date and replace it . . .LOL Or just make a new one. Great job!

Would anyone be interested in a variation on this one? I came up with the idea for our Jan 2007 cruise and one of the other DISers actually put it together. I could change the date or create it without any date so it could be used on any future cruise... Most of us on that cruise had this magnet (most printed their own and I made a couple for people who didn't have color printers) so you knew which rooms wer DISers.
