I'm sorry if I offended...or made you feel bad, even momentarily. I wasn't AT ALL calling anyone out specifically. I have images in my sig and a countdown.....and I am guilty of posting lots of pictures. I just wondered if we should all be more selective so that we don't "lose" our thread again.

It's just after midnite and Alicia is on "duty" with Kalea... an' I can hear Kalea every now and then calling out between her attempts at sleeping. She has had a HIGH fever spiking in he last hour or two - and we gave a stiffer dosage of Juvie Advil. Maybe it was a BAD thing to let her do gymnastics when I thought she was so much better... near normal .... earlier this evening. I kno... some are probably shaking thier heads from side to side at my failure here. < sigh >

Anyways, it should have been a viral infection since it was so similar to Juliannas' recent viral driven fever.

So - I guess we're waiting for the medication to kick in and help - it already has driven her fever lower somewhat.

... it's now been 24 hours plus a couple minutes and we now stand at 309 postings and 2,889 visits to the thread. That translates into a new posing on average every 4 minutes and 40 seconds... or alternatively at 309 postings a day and 205 days til embarkation this makes for a modest, estimated 63,345 postings.

This does not account for shifts in daylight savings time, nor does it attempt to adjust for the expected surge in activity as we draw nearer to embarktion, or lull in the final few days right before embarkation.

I got back from DCL house party!!! The hosts were very gracious!! DCL did not give what was promised!!! I did receive a shopping bag from DCL, a POTC eye patch, recipes cards, a very nice goofy pirate hat,DVD of the cruise (the same one) and a couple of paper masks from Peter pan. There was no $50 certificate... only to the host which said it must be used on new booking. I will be doing a survey to give feedback.

Thought a lot of you were curious!! I got home late because I really had a nice time!!!

FYI on the "promised" gifts for the DCL house party. Apparently the list that was previously circulated that included OBC for guests and many other really nice DCL gifts was a proposed list and not finalized and approved by DCL. The House Party folks were not supposed to share that list. So when the finalized party packages were put together, they were very different from the original list. I'll go see if I can find the email that someone received from DCL after complaining about the party package.


For those who don't know, the party packages ended up not being DCL themed. In fact, the cocktail napkins were not even in a package, but just thrown in the box loose. There were Peter Pan paper masks promoting Return to Neverland (maybe 4 or 5), a few Mickey or Goofy pirate ears and a few bandanas. There were other things, but the main issue many hosts had were that there were not 10 of anything to stuff the 10 goodie bags that came with the party pack.

.... however I'm not surprised. It seems as if DCL is constantly doing all kinds of small scale marketing experiments... many semi-finished in some ways.

Okay , I just checked and our thread is not back yet ....I wonder if its ever coming back ????

Well, as of a few minutes ago it still is not back and it's near 2:30AM in California time.

Not to mention the Sk8ingmom Stairmaster Challenge!

Well...

... I had to scroll back four pages before I found one thread with over 10,000 postings. It's near 5AM my time - I'm about to turn back in - and they have not restored our thread yet.
