Have you posted a pic of your cockerpoo? I had one - Muffin - one of the sweetest dogs I've ever had. I have German Shepherds & tend to add smaller dogs to enhance the cuddle factor (G.S's don't fit on lap!! LOL)

The hospital here makes their own bread and sells it. They make an unbelievable coconut bread. Toasted with some rum butter

Not everyone may know about David's family not going -- I didn't until he started posting today on the 5 day cruise meet . . . anyone like me who was out last night and didn't catch up missed the news.

I don't even know the entire story, but just that for family reasons they have canceled this repo and booked on the Sept. 1st 5 night Magic cruise right afterwards.

Down is easy. I do try to take the stairs if it is a few decks. I'll leave the harder climbs for the younguns

Crash, this reminded me of something my DS Andrew used to say when he was little. "I want a grilled cheese, but don't cook it" We tried to explain that an uncooked grilled cheese was a cheese sandwich, but he would just get angry and repeat the same thing

I had a similar issue arise with my little one - she wanted it toasted but not cooked. How strange could that coincidence be? And on count 2, I thought because this sandwich was the most she'd eaten + that she had become so bubbly and was SINGING again .... I thought, OK, I'll let her go to gymnastics tonite with her sister. Well, after gymnastics she sort of tossed a few cookies. Fortunately it was after most everyone had left and we had just finished chattin' with some friends that she tossed a few cookies. Oh, she had been running pretty intensely too with the other kids in free play. THAT might have had a lot to do with it too... and that she was freshly "better" and possibly still a bit "vulnerable".

And I still have a package to send out to ya - I was immobilized these last few days looking after the kids alone (Alicia was away) and I was looking after the feverish little one.

It;s wierd how "shut down" I've been in recent weeks between being sort of ill - and getting into unavoidable activities that turned out to be mildly demanding of me lately. OK... now you're seein' a bit of "steam" from me....

Time to go visit chat....

What was done with our AUG07 cruise thread is that the DIS thread was for trip information. A moderator access YAHOO thread was set up for folks who wanted to chat and get to know each other. Thus, keeping all the fluff off the DISBOARDS. Also, then the DIS thread wasn't intimidating to newbies and people got the info they were looking for.

We could do that very easily, any interest?

Well...

... I was feeling a bit persecuted for a bit. I've posted a lot ... and a lot of my postings have images. But the vast majority are really small files. Some are even entertaining while others simply are insane and barely applicable (depending on ones' POV). At any rate, if LENGTH of thread and processing method are at issue ... especially since they've allowed siggys to have no FILE size limits - just DIMENSIONAL limits... it would seem the images/animations and file sizes are NOT a concern of the technical managers here.... since I checked with a moderator some time ago when the new rules for siggys (and their automatic editing) went through ...

.... Then it seems it would be safe fer me to again offer a sheepish claim to being....

I left my animated ship docking in my siggy specificly because I got an answer that the file sizes were not an issue in the siggy... WITH the reservation that AT THIS TIME the siggy file sizes were not a concern for the moderators.​

I'm sorry if I offended...or made you feel bad, even momentarily. I wasn't AT ALL calling anyone out specifically. I have images in my sig and a countdown.....and I am guilty of posting lots of pictures. I just wondered if we should all be more selective so that we don't "lose" our thread again.
