DD has had to wait for the paperback to come out....unfortunately..it was supposed to be out by now and isn't...we have a surprise for her on the ship tho..we are getting a copy from the UK.

I think the second or third book came out in the UK before the U.S. I ended up ordering it from Amazon.co.uk

How was your weather today? I'm thinking about taking the boys to the Oakland Zoo this weekend. It was 95 here - I know it wasn't that hot there.

I Think its a great idea and I believe that we all want to do it. It would be awesome. I think Disney crew wouldn't know what to do if all did that when we walked in and put our bags down and made angels on the floor.

I accidentally edited out part I was going to reply to also. LOL The part about the hair- I got mine cut shorter recently and while I have always always always had super straight hair (even perms didn't want to take the first 3 times- stuff like that) it seems lately I have hair that easily frizzes (possibly due to the fact that I have to get highlights/lowlights now that my hair is coming out super dark when I'm used to having blonde hair my whole life? LOL) and now that it's short if I like get out of the pool and it dries naturally (ala waterpark hairdo) it curls up! INteresting to say the least. LOL
I hope both our hair-dids (LOL you know- got my hair-did instead of hair-do) turn out great tomorrow.

Oh and yes, I want to put my kids in bubbles. We're leaving in a few days and I'm just counting the minutes that someone doesn't get hurt...... no broken bones or stitches please!

The girls both leave for GS camp on Sunday, I'm just hoping they come home Friday well. Last year at camp Kathryn fell on an oyster shell and had to have stitches in her ankle.
Right now Alana is on antibiotics for 10 days. She has some bump things on her legs. The doctor cultured them just to make sure there isn't a staph infection or MRSA!

Let's run in holding hands skipping and THEN throw ourselves down to the floor and do snow angels. carpet angels?

Let's embarrass your 14yr old DS and my 14yr old DD to death........ i'm game!

hi everyone.
monkey wrench in my plans. went for a normal prenatal visit today...and found out there was no heartbeat. sooo....lucky me gets to go to hospital tomorrow for a lovely procedure...and we leave on sunday.
sorry to be a downer...jsut needed to get it out there...cuz i'm kinda loosin it here. please pray that it all works out. thanks.

Wow..when will you have the results? The doctor released her to go to camp? I hope it turns out to be nothing serious. And just out of curiosity..how did she fall on an oyster shell? Where is camp?

As you know - we've got many micro-climates here. In Marin this AM it was sunny/warm - by the time I drove over to Richmond and the Bay to go to the open space park to run the dogs it was still foggy and cool. But it burned off before we left. It never did get hot though here in Marin - the coastel fog kept the temp down.

I imagine that the Oakland Zoo will have temps similar to ours. Oh - though the forecast says the temps here will rise by the weekend - still I doubt that it would be as hot as you get
