Well... we're EVEN then.

Because YOU make me smile warmly to think I've generated chuckles somewhere out there in DIS land.

I've been so busy with "chores" and "business issues and problems" that I've been sort of under some pressure from multiple angles lately. And I have YET to start stressing over any final travel arrangements.

OK.,,, what are the odds of us having enough posting "horse-power" to hit 3000 in a few minutes?​

Gosh - I am tired -I realized I repeated myself ----- but what I won on eBay was a Kindle reading device - so I can take lots of books on the TOAL w/out the space/weight!

That's pretty cool. I looooove to read. I am going to bring a couple of books and then there is the book exchange. I hope I have time to read while on he ship.

We are flying. I kinda (just a little) wish that we were driving then I wouldn't have to worry about how much my luggage is going to weigh. My plan is to have one suitcase and one carry one. That's the plan - now if I can stick to it is another issue.

My DD Lori was up here last week and I sent back w/her lots of stuff - FE gifts and DH's heavy pirate costume - etc. - soooo my plan is for us to have one checked and one carry-on each. However, I haven't tried to pack yet - so I'm not sure my plan will work.

My new motto is Less Is More!! Oh and Stree Less. LOL

I read about these several months ago...

... they were supposed to be hard to find ... the article I read spoke of how the manufacturer had insufficient plant capacity to meet the tremendous demand. Nad competitiors (like SOny) were clearly coming in BEHIND Kindle in this market!

Hey DAN.... I'll walk the ship with ya for distributing FE gifts. I push a stroller so I won't have to carry 130 do-dads.... just look me up and let me know when you're thinking of doing it. I am a nite owl... and not adverse to mornings or otherwise.

Sounds good. Usually I'm a night owl also - but there are some early morning excursions so I don't know what kind of schedule I'll be on. But we can work something out.

I just bought my Nephew a Prince Caspian costume to improvise into a Pirates' costume for pirate nite. It was on sale at the Disney Store for half price... and it looked so elaborate I had to get it for him!

Kindle is showing in-stock on Amazon for $359. I do hear it's pretty good - but $359 pays for a lot of paperbacks.....

I would multi-quote but we are trying to fluff here..

FOr the 3 of us we will have 4 suitcases and 2 carry ons I think..of those...1 of the checks suits cases are full of FE and SM gifts and 1 of the carry ons is full of a FE gift..if I remember or I might be off by 1..cant remember..I just know its a lot of carp!

He loves it...in his case the cost was worth it because he has to read a lot of books fo rhis work which normally run hardback approx 50-60 each...so uploading them into the unit works for him..for me it wouldnt be worth it..i love the used bookstore where I get my books for .50 each

I love to read as well. My problem is - if it's a good book I don't want to put it down - which means - no house cleaning - no laundry - no nothin'! It will take me about 2 days to finish a good book.
